ADRIAN ARROYO
HOW CAN I BE HEALTHY? Practicing sports Adrian is my roommate; he is 19 years old, he likes doing exercise frequently for at least 45 minutes per day. He had an injury in his knee when he was 15 years old so he can’t practice any sport. He said that if he could practice any sport he would practice tennis or swimming. He likes contact sports but he prefers not doing it. He said that sports are good for young people, because they help them to gain certain responsibility and discipline, you become healthier also you can lose some weight. He thinks that team sports are the best because they teach you team work, and also they help you to be more sociable and how to be successful in life with more people.
His favorite food is Mexican and Italian food, like pasta, pizza, tacos, tlacoyos, enchiladas, etc. but he always also eats healthy food, he tries to achieve a balance with his food, he eats lots vegetables, fruits and he drinks a lot of water. He also said that he prefers to eat junk food on weekends with his friends. He thinks that young people have to eat healthier food because nowadays Mexico holds the number one place in obesity in the world so he said that the parents and the school have to do something to help the young people with this problem or to fight against obesity.
Gym supplements
He said that he didn’t know much about gym supplements but he knows that if you want to consume this kind of products you have to know how to use them. He thinks that there are a lot of people who buy these products and they go to the gym for two weeks and they feel prepared to use them but no, they have first to go with a professional who can help them and put them on the right path.
HOW TO BE A HEALTHY STUDENT? By Hector Galindo
Being healthy is really important; people have to be healthier because this way of living will help you in the future to have a better way of living. "A healthy lifestyle leaves you fit, energetic and at reduced risk for disease, based on the choices you make about your daily habits. Good nutrition, daily exercise and adequate sleep are the foundations for continuing good health. Managing stress in positive ways, instead of through smoking or drinking alcohol, reduces wear and tear on your body at the hormonal level. For a longer and more comfortable life, put together your plan for a healthy lifestyle and live up to it." (livestrong.com) There is a lot of information that could help us to change our lifestyle if we are not healthy students, I know that it is really difficult sometimes but I’m going to show the point of view of a student at La Salle about being healthy.

BRENDA PEREZ IS THE REASON TO QUESTION
WHAT KIND OF MENTALITY DO THE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS HAVE TODAY? By Edward Martínez Brenda Olivia Perez Padilla is a beautiful girl who likes fashion, and thought that she could work on that by studying communication science. In spite of her choice of a major that focuses on the understanding of information, the writing and phrases in media, she enjoys all about learning. Her goals in life are to work as an editor of an important fashion magazine as well as to do research as an activist for women´s rights. Brenda is studying at the La Salle University in Leon city, even though she is from Guadalajara, Jalisco. She thinks that La Salle is not the best university that she would have liked to enter, but admits taking a good decision.
Although she does not agree with all the ideals of this institution, about being Catholic and conservative, she knows the history of Juan Bautista De La Salle, who founded the school for poor children. Some personal details about her is that she would like to get a tattoo of a triangle because her brother has it, and it is a special symbol about force and good. In addition, she would like to get a tattoo of a hummingbird. She can get annoyed very easily, she can't stand stupid people, neither disrespect nor things that she cannot understand. She dreams to travel to Europe and see London. She doesn’t remember her first toy in her childhood, but she says that she had many Barbie´s dolls.

UNIVERSITY LIFE OF A YOUNG GIRL I think knowing about students life is interesting and fun because you can learn a lot of things and have very important experiences for your future.
Diana Ruiz Salceda is from Salamanca. She has one little sister. She is studying International Business at La Salle Bajio. She loves La Salle because it helps you in many things and also inspires you to create your own ideas. She is happy with the activities at La Salle; however, she would like some modern dance classes or something like that.
She lives in front of the university, in El Pueblito and she really likes living near the school. She said that it is very relaxing and comfortable because all the things that you need you can find around the university. About her plans for her future, she would like to have her own Japanese restaurant, as well as travel around the world and get to know a lot of cultures, people, etc. She said in contrast to Salamanca, Leon has Puerto Interior and it is a great opportunity to get a good job in an important company. She wouldn't like to have her restaurant in Leon because she would like a bigger city. In her free time, she really enjoys singing, cooking, watching videos or browsing Pinterest for hours and hours and she also reads news, which is her main hobby. She’s working in an acoustic group and they sing at some parties. LAURA HUICHAPA
FOG SESSIONS Projects in life related to technology Interview with Vilchis Soto
Technology is a subject that students nowadays start getting interested in, not only for using it. The reason why Vilchis Soto got interested in technology was because his partners went to the school to talk about the main ideas of the major. His role model was Donatieu, he is a good Mexican designer of electronic pages. Sometimes failing in projects is not the only way not to understand. Memes, videos and entertainment was the reason in this case, in other words “wasting time”. Professors that look at him for his abilities made him think of trying to help himself understand that everyone can make this, no matter who they are.
His new objective for finishing his major is to focus on microprocessor, signals, digital electronics, new applications to design for the future. Sometimes love for this comes along the way. Unbelievable or not, he started when he was in high school but he said that it was complicated to combine projects and university at the same time. Time is truly important in this life, because this major is more focused on practicing and projects than on the theory. One of his projects is dedicated to working with the human voice, the other was related to developing new technology for children (Machine that can focus on learning in another way). He thought that it could be amazing if a company or his school offered a scholarship. "Sometimes your future comes as time goes"

ALÍ HASSAN ATANACIO LÓPEZ
LIFE AND EXPECTATIONS OF A LAW SCHOOL STUDENT. By Gustavo Aarón Estrada González The University, that stage in the life that quickly becomes one of the best memories of any person who decided to study a major. In this case, I had the opportunity to interview a current Law school student who shared with us a lot of opinions about the major that he´s studying. His name is Jose Octavio Peña Hurtado. First of all, he admitted being content and happy about the interview and also told me that he-s from Zamora, Michoacán. In addition, he shared with me that he's 21 years old and declared that he is very proud of his birth place, but he´s living in León, Guanajuato right now. Moreover, he admitted enjoying his life as an out-out-town student because he likes the places, weather and everything about the city. But he also told me that this place looks very different from where he comes. He admitted going outside with his friends or his girlfriend to spend his free time, also he denied playing football because he only plays soccer. Later, he told me that he chose the University of La Salle because it´s very good and has an excellent level in the major that he is studying (he mentioned that he studies Law) and he chose the city of León because he thought it is very comfortable to live as a person or student. Furthermore, in the moment of choosing a major to study, he told me that he chose Law because the subjects and topics in general are very interesting, but he also insisted on focusing on his strengths, as oral expression or the ability to talk in public. Although he chos Law, he liked a lot the idea of studying Communication Sciences, to be a sports commentator. However, he prefers continuing his studies in Law and expects to finish his major. In addition to the major, he agreed that he is satisfied with his subjects in general. In spite of having a lot of good subjects, he has one or two subjects that he doesn´t like and considers a bit of useless and thinks they need to be re-moved. The previous idea is similar to his thoughts on his teachers, because he admitted paying more attention to the teachers that are very well prepared. In general, he´s fine with his subjects though he wants to remove a couple of subjects.
He also told me that he liked the subjects related to criminal or constitutional things even though he preferred the subjects that involve oral expression. In terms of his expectations and goals, in the short term he wants to finish his major with great grades because he has the mentality that being a hard-worker is the easiest way to achieve anything that you want. In addition to his goals, in the medium and long term, he sees himself with a great job in an international Law firm related to Mexico and also, he wants to get a very good salary and a nice lifestyle. Finally, I asked him to think about the ways he sees himself between 10-15 years from now and I was surprised to hear that he wanted to become a rich man with a beautiful family, traveling around the world, but he also wanted to be a powerful lawyer who can help society and humanity. ***

Soccer is a really famous sport around the world. This sport has the largest group of fans and the most loyal ones, it also has the most amazing stadiums on the planet and a very large history. This sport is played with 2 teams for each match, and each team has 11 players on the field. Also there is a referee who is in charge of checking that everyone follows the rules and he can give a punishment to the players and also to the coaches and directors of each team. La Salle students think that soccer is the best sport in which strategy and skill are combined, this is why they have been playing this sport for years, it's a sport in which they find a way to de-stress. Everyone agreed that Ronaldinho was the best player of all time because of his great skill and performance. I did my interview with Daniel MuĂąoz, a Law student of La Salle, who told me that his favorite soccer team is Leon and Real Madrid but his favorite player is Ronaldinho, who used to play for Barcelona, the main competition of Real Madrid. He also told me that he liked soccer very much, because he was in the basic teams of Leon since he was a kid and since then he fell in love with soccer. In conclusion, soccer is much more complex than it seems, you need to know strategy and have several abilities to become a professional.

When she was 18 years old, she wanted to start teaching, but in a formal way, so she went to Peer 2 Peer, her old school, Daniela tried and got the job, now she was part of the team. Daniela thinks that the best way to keep the knowledge and not forget a language is practicing it, and a good way to do this is teaching.
Daniela Rivera Ramos loves teaching, but also she wants to design and create, as her goal is to become a professional in communication. She had participated in some projects related to design and marketing, with her aunt, who is make-up artist. Mainly, she think that independent of what we think or the job that we’re doing, we need to be motivated and, by the end of the day give the best of us.
ABOUT
TEACHING...
Daniela prefers teaching adult people than kids and teenagers, this is because she think that an adult really knows the effort of each one, because they know what they want and the money that they spent for learning English. Her best experience as a student was meeting all the people in the process, and as a teacher, was with a Japanese teenager, Keijiro. He moved to México because his parents work at Mazda, which is in Salamanca. She believed that he was very intelligent, and this motivated her to teach him, although he was a teenager.
