[Thesis] Edge Urbanism Thesis Citation for Excellence
Edge Urbanism examines various scales of the city, and proposes that major regional infrastructure and local urbanism are deeply connected. The project challenges the status quo and the public perception of what a waterfront can do for a city.
EDGE
The edge performs as the thread stitching the waterfront with the communities that are further beyond it. In doing so, the thesis proposes a paradigm of a symbiotic relationSECTION THROUGH AUDITORIUM ship between three currently separate systems within Baltimore: hydrology, industry and the urban fabric.
