Connotata da una accentuata orizzontalità, Horizon è una collezione che si compone di due linee. La prima combina tre lavabi ovali da 70, 60 e 50 cm ed un lavabo tondo da 50 cm a quattro piani ceramici da 150,125, 100 e 75 cm. Il piano da 150, in due versioni, prevede configurazioni con lavabo singolo o doppio. Negli altri piani, il lavabo singolo può essere posizionato a sinistra, al centro e a destra. La seconda linea propone tre lavabi nelle dimensioni di 125, 100 e 75 cm con catini ovali integrati nel piano. Le nuance disponibili e la possibilità di abbinamento anche a mobili e strutture dedicate rendono il sistema adatto ad ogni tipo di bagno.

Characterized by an extremely flat surface, Horizon System is made up of two types of product. The first one includes three oval washbasins (70, 60 and 50 cm sized), one round washbasins and four ceramic tops (150, 125,100 and 75 cm sized). Washbasins can be installed in the middle, on the right or on the left of the other ceramic tops, but on 150 cm one - available in two versions - it is possible to install two washbasins. The second group includes 3 washbasins (125, 100 and 75 cm sized) with oval bowls integrated in the surface area.The available colours and the range of furniture, basin units and support frames, make this system suitable for every kind of bathroom. Libertà di installazione che darà la possibilità di avere ampi piani funzionali da gestire in base ai propri gusti ed esigenze. The three Horizon washbasins - as well as other eight washbasins, belonging to Verso, Zero, Classy, Green Lux and Gold&Silver range - can be installed on the ceramic tops in three different positions: in the middle, on the right or on the left. These installation alternatives give the possibility to have large functional ledges to use according to every need.

La sperimentazione di Catalano sul tema delle finiture di pregio ha reso possibile la messa a punto di un esclusivo processo produttivo che consente l’applicazione sui sanitari di una “pelle” di oro 18k e di argento puro. Ne derivano finiture eccellenti, frutto di uno specifico processo di vetrificazione che consente di ottenere un grado di resistenza alle abrasioni “unscratchable”, ai detergenti e agli sbalzi termici nettamente superiore rispetto agli smalti tradizionali.
Catalano experimentation on precious finishes has lead to the development of an exclusive production process for applying a “skin” of 18k gold and pure silver on sanitaryware items. These precious finishes are the result of a special vitrification process which allows to get a much higher resistance to abrasions, detergents and to thermal shock than standard glazes.

Le pilette, progettate per una simbiosi totale con il lavabo, sono realizzate in ceramica, anch'esse con smalto Cataglaze®+, nei 4 colori satinati abbinati ai lavabi o nella versione in metallo nelle colorazioni oro o cromo da abbinare ai lavabi con finitura Gold e Silver. Per il fissaggio sul piano ceramico, sono provviste di una piastra specifica in acciaio inox. Basin wastes, designed for a perfect integration to the washbasin, are made of ceramic treated with Cataglaze®+ . They are available in the same 4 satin colors of the washbasins, or in metal finishes (gold or chrome) to match Gold and Silver washbasins. To perform the installation on ceramic top, basin wastes are provided with stainless steel fixing plates.

È stato realizzato un esclusivo sistema di recupero del calore, che ha migliorato le performance ambientali portando ad una diminuzione dei consumi di gas e di energia nelle fasi di cottura ed essiccazione. An original and exclusive heat recycling system was designed to further improve the protection of the environment, which led to a considerable reduction in energy during firing and drying phases.
La messa a regime degli impianti fotovoltaici, ha permesso un fondamentale risparmio di energia quantificabile in circa 1 milione di kWatt l’anno. The implementation of our solar power plant has allowed for fundamental energy savings of about 1 million kW a year.
È stato recentemente realizzato un nuovo impianto, ad alta efficienza energetica, capace di riciclare al 100% gli scarti di lavorazione, già di per sé derivati dalla lavorazione di materie prime naturali. The new innovative recycling plant, which is highly energy-efficient, is able to recycle 100% of the processing waste of industrial procedures derived from the processing of natural raw materials.
L’ingegnerizzazione dei processi ha reso più efficienti i sistemi di trattamento delle acque ottenendo una notevole riduzione dell’utilizzo di prodotti per la depurazione.
