The family of Filoviridae is part of the enveloped single-stranded RNA viruses which include amongst others the pathogens of Ebola as well as the Marburg virus. Both the Ebola virus and the Marburg virus cause a haemorrhagic fever, which in the case of Ebola has a mortality rate of 25 to 90 percent and in the case of the Marburg virus a mortality rate of 24 to 88 percent.
The satisfaction of our customers is our primary concern. In order to provide you with products of best possible quality, we have now added a new SteriSponge for the cleaning of autoclaves to our program. Compared to the previous model this sponge is even gentler on the material, optimally takes up dirt and has a handy shape.
All disinfection products of ALPRO MEDICAL GMBH comply with the recommendations of RKI therefore effective against enveloped viruses and thus also against the Ebola virus as well as the Marburg virus. MinutenSpray-classic, PlastiSept, DesNet+, AlproSept-HDE, BIB forte eco, MinutenWipes, PlastiSept-wipes, WLcid, CidWipes eco are virucidal according to DVV 2012. All ALPRO disinfectants are effective against the Ebola virus and the Marburg virus and meet the requirements of the RKI.

We are very pleased to inform you that we received their approval for the liquid cleaner TR3, the neutralizing agent TR-Neutralizer and the liquid rinsing concentrate TRClear.
