Worship Services

Praise Worship: Every Saturday at 5:00 p.m. In the summer, we transition to a camp-style praise service at 5:00 p.m. in the yard (weather permitting) for our Saturday worship service. Sunday Worship: 9:00 a.m., the second and fourth Sundays of every month Although we are now meeting in person, all worship services will continue to be live-streamed on our website and facebook pages. We have faith development and fellowship opportunities with Salem Lutheran Church including Wednesday Kid’s Club, Bible Studies, quilting, gardening and more. St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry and Financial Assistance

The St Vincent de Paul Society is a lay Catholic organization that aspires to live the gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice, hope and joy, and by working to shape a more just and compassionate society.

Our local St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry and Financial Assistance office strives to help Friends in Need through a dedicated, discreet, and respectful heart. The hours/contact of our Pantry/Financial office is as follows: 906.932.4325 Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM

During this time of Covid, we would like to heartfully thank those who have so very graciously given so much to our Conference and food pantry, including bags of food, fresh produce from their gardens, and the extremely kind monetary gifts. Our community is so kind and giving of themselves. We are so richly blessed.

Nanette Paquette is an entrepreneur, business owner and has her own alpaca farm. Her store “Nanette's Knits and Gifts” has been in business going on 9 years in Wakefield, Michigan and carries yarn and knitting supplies, soft alpaca clothing and toasty warm alpaca socks. She also carries Yooper apparel, baby gifts, as well as treats and jams from U.P. Foods. Also available are unique hand crafted gifts from her family. Nanette comes from a family of 10, all very talented. Her mother Hazel hand stitches crafty felted wool ornaments, pin cushions and critters. Brother Dave designs and manufactures bird feeders such as "Lil Sweety” Hummingbird Feeder (featured in "Birds and Blooms"), his popular Baltimore Oriole feeder and now the new butterfly feeder. Brother Jim hand carves beautiful wood spirits while sister Maria creates all natural beeswax candles. Nanette's cousins make their own Grade A certified maple syrup and sugar. Nanette is in her glory with all the beautiful yarns in her shop. Not only does she carry super soft alpaca yarn from her animals, she also carries local yarns from Three Irish Girls, Interlacement, Humble Acres, Malabrigo, Berroco, Skacel, Hikoo. Opal Sock Yarn, Brown Sheep, Blue Sky, Noro, Katia, and many more quality yarns.
