Your Prior Experience Counts

Many potential students have a clinical degree in an allied health field and want to advance into management. Indian River State College may grant course credit for enrolled students who have acquired knowledge equivalent to college credit through work experience. To apply for credit submit the Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) application, current licensure or certification, current resume, letter of reference from your current employer and a current job description. On a case-by-case basis, up to 14 credit hours of competency credit may be earned for through the PLA process.
