Study Abroad

Indian River State College offers several study and travel abroad trips each summer, providing students with opportunities to earn college credits as they participate in enriching life-changing experiences. Students participating in study abroad opportunities may enjoy academic and cultural experiences in locations such as Japan, Switzerland, England, Prague, Budapest, Hungary, Guatemala and Costa Rica.

Academic Advisement

All new degree-seeking students at Indian River State College are assigned an advisor upon completion of admissions. Your assigned advisor works with you to help you map out your degree or certificate program. Together, you will develop a customized Academic Plan—your Guided Pathway—that will be utilized for class selection throughout your enrollment.

Academic Support

The Academic Support Center (ASC) at Indian River State College provides extensive resources and instruction to help students excel in their coursework. Services include free individual and group tutoring, review sessions, computer use and assistance, and special needs equipment.
