In the wake of Tropical Cyclone Debbie, the Isaac Region Recovery Sub-Group is working hard to restore access and infrastructure to isolated communities,” Mayor Baker said. “I’m extremely grateful to local community members and groups, businesses, state agencies, Council staff and volunteers who have rallied together. “The generosity is outstanding with private operators and agricultural groups like Agforce supporting the community with helicopter food drops, fodder transport and much more from their own pockets and donations. If you live in Isaac and lost power, gas or water for more than 5 days, you may be eligible for a payment of $150 per perosn, or up to $750 for a family of 5 or more.
