Tickets on sale for Mayor’s Charity Ball for White Ribbon Tickets for Mayor Anne Baker’s Charity Ball for White Ribbon went on sale Monday 14 September. Event organiser Melissa Westcott said everything is set for the black tie affair in the Square. “Proudly supporting White Ribbon, Australia’s campaign to stop violence against women, the Charity Ball has been well supported by the community, businesses and sponsors.” “We are expecting 300 guests to support the stylish evening under the stars which includes a three course meal, charity auction, entertainment, live band and dancing,” Mrs Westcott said. “Local talent Mezzanine, featuring lead vocals Rob Cookson and Klancie Keough, will be performing chart toppers across the eras late into the night.”

“I’m also delighted to announce White Ribbon Ambassador and passionate advocate for preventing men’s violence against women, Mick Doleman will be our guest speaker.” The charity evening will be held on Saturday, October 31 in Moranbah Town Square from 6.30pm. The dress code will be formal/black tie, limited tickets will be available soon at $125 per person or $1250 per table of 10. Tickets went on sale from 9am Monday September 14 until sold out, limited to 10 tickets (one table) per sale.
