AMAZING WOMEN RECOGNISED DURING QUEENSLAND WOMEN’S WEEK Eleven inspiring women were recognised at International Women’s Day celebrations across Isaac during Queensland Women’s Week. The 2018 Inspiring Women in Isaac awards paid tribute to women of all ages who inspire, move and have made a positive difference to the lives of those around them. Isaac Regional Council Mayor Anne Baker said these women energise the Isaac region and she couldn’t be more proud to honour them. “Hearing the stories and contributions these amazing women have made was a humbling experience,’ Cr Baker said. “We received 50 nominations from men and women, all personally grateful for the work these women do to make the region a better place to live. “It is women like these that build our communities, encourage respect for women, and remind us of the
