IN STEP WITH COMMUNITY ON CAPELLA ST FOOTPATH Improvements to the footpath between Herschel and Sirius streets are planned as part of Council’s 2018-19 Capital Works program, funded under the State Government’s Works For Queensland program. Mayor Anne Baker said the footpath upgrade would help Isaac Regional Council improve pedestrian safety in Capella St.
“We want to have a conversation with Capella St business operators and the community to ensure we capture and address, as much as possible, any concerns they may have,” she said. “This is Clermont’s town centre and we want community buy-in on the proposed outcomes, including issues such as the type of finish applied to new sections of footpath, within the limitations of the project budget.”
