CLERMONT RAG FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 7, 2018

AUSSIE MUSIC LEGENDS READY TO ROCK ISAAC Iconic Australian music artists Daryl Braithwaite and Ross Wilson along with dynamic three-piece group The Potbelleez will rock crowds at the 4U2 Family Concert in Moranbah on Saturday, September 8. The annual concert was first launched by the Hornery Group in 2013 as an opportunity to fundraise for two essential medical services through the creation of a community music event for all ages. In its sixth year, the fundraising concert also provides a platform for local artists to shine on stage alongside the headline acts. Thirteen year old Bella Mackenzie and local bands Bulletproof and Final Warning featuring Derran Hornery will entertain the audience in the afternoon leading up to the main acts in the evening. Mayor Anne Baker said the concert was a great opportunity to bring the Bowen Basin community together for an enjoyable and vibrant family experience with high-quality entertainment and family-friendly activities. “Each year, the community looks forward to the big announcement about who will be headlining at this fantastic concert,” said Mayor Baker. “We have enjoyed many quality Australian and local artists and bands over the past five years. “2018 is shaping up to once again offer an outstanding afternoon and evening of entertainment with some of Australia’s most iconic artists featuring on stage.”
