Mayor Anne Baker said the annual Australia Day Awards were an opportunity to acknowledge and say thanks to remarkable residents. “The Awards recognise people in Isaac communities who display outstanding dedication to making a difference.” “They make our communities and our nation great.” “Age is no barrier, we encourage award nominees from youth to our senior citizens,” she said. “Nominees can be from all walks of life but one thing is always consistent, they embody the qualities that make us proud to be an Australian.”
