Pimp Yo’ Pan and more bling-bling In a bid to embolden Clermont’s quirky and creative nature, the Pimp Yo’ Pan gold and coal art workshops and competition are on again. Open to all Isaac region residents, the aim is to challenge art perceptions by creatively decorating a gold pan with art. The Pimp Yo’ Pan competition, sponsored by Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF), gets its name from the urban phrase, to make something cool or better by decorating.

“The more bling-bling, the better.”
Mayor Anne Baker said the Pimp Yo’ Pan competition was an innovative approach to art education and workshops to be conducted in schools across the Clermont region. “We also encourage community groups to take up the challenge of creating new, cool street art,” Mayor Baker said.
Competition categories include schools, people’s choice, seniors and open and will be judged at 12pm on Saturday August 20. For more information contact Clermont Artslink on 0422 667 758.
