Monash Lodge star weavers
On Wednesday November 30, Clermont Library hosted a senior’s event and had a wonderful visit from Monash Logdge residents to help assist our star weaving efforts. Our running total is 5081 and we’re aiming for 10,000 stars by the end of March, so we’re now half way there! Thank you to all involed (from top left): Melody Cole, Daph Massey and Patrica White; Marg Martyn and Lorna Faint; Ivan Bettridge; Phyllis Massey; Jack Currant; and Laura Burnett.
About the ‘One Million Stars’ project Isaac Libraries have set a goal of making 10,000 stars for the ‘One Million Stars to End Violence’ star weaving project. Clermont Library has a star weaving station set up for people to drop in anytime during opening hours to weave a star from ribbon. If you want to escape the heat, come to the Clermont Library to enjoy the air-conditioning and make a few stars. Gather a few friends and make a morning or afternoon of it.
