Open for business September 20: Council welcomes the new lessees of the Clermont Swimming Centre Matthew Martin and Hayley Camman from Aquacomm
Isaac Pools to open in time for swimming season Isaac Pools will open in time for swimming season after undergoing maintenance during winter.
“Some had broken and cracked tiles replaced and expansion joints repaired.
Substantial part restorations works were rolled out as part of a seven year asset management plan.
“Others had new water pumps and filters installed just to name a few.
Mayor Anne Baker said they will help maintain the structural integrity and water quality of the pools.
“We look forward to delivering the pool works as part of the 2016-17 New Capital Budget.
“Council understands how important pools are to our communities, especially living in a hot climate.
The pool works align with Council’s strategic plans to provide safe and cost effective community facilities and venues.
“Works will wrap up in time for the start of the swimming season with some to be ready for the start of the school holidays. “Council apologises for the extended closure of the pools and appreciates the community’s understanding.
