Profound romance. There is something seductive about it. There is mystery behind a woman that attracts both physically and intellectually. It is sensible, it’s delicate, it’s bewitchingly romantic. A nostalgic feeling for the Victorian woman associated with class and dignity, but left with a desire to demonstrate their empowerment. The most feminine trend for A/W 18, it rejuvenates historical revival of laces, trims and rich patterns in a more minimal, lightweight and wearable silhouettes. Semi sheer and deconstructed vintage looks symbolize a subtly rebellious. Softhued colours revive this sentimental look with a touch of sand metallic to create a light, vintage finish.
Tulle, ruffles and sculpted pleats become key details in garments. More exposure such minimal cuts explore a more sexual look such as lingerie showing. Accessories feature case like luggage tracing back to historic statement pieces and glasses that references intellectual femininity; corset becomes also become part of the classical look.

TW 13
A palette full of drama, contrast and confusion. Today, technology has us overwhelmed with its radiant and fast-paced advances, globalized with street culture. It becomes an understanding and acceptance of unusual aesthetics that creates bold and unique personalities that at the same time become gender neutral. It becomes about escapism, experimentation and exaggeration. Vibrant colours with clashing patterns from street inspiration take a re-imagined look. Trend includes bright and abstract packaging referring to street graffiti. Key pieces feature bold colors with contrast patterns. Color blocking jackets with geometric quilting become a statement piece. Mesh, acid brights, light reflective filaments, basket weave structures, patches and embossed textiles become part of the aesthetic.

TH 19
This story inspires the nerdy mix of preppy layering and gender neutral garments. This earthy palette is influenced by the 1960’s libraries, dusty books and mid-century designs. Bookworm graphics and awkward length layering symbolizing kids experimentations and their sense of style. This is a story of learning and reading that revisits the knowledge economy of the 60s that have a slightly retro color quality.
Textiles resemble book spirals. Work-wear style features twill and canvas, as well as hounds-tooth vintage patterns. Layering, a mix of sweater and cardigans and more elegant button-down garments are key pieces.
