without substance, language or even form, is what I am pursuing in the rationality of architecture. That is why I name this as ‘Poetfolio’.


The Woods ‘The Woods’ is an imitation to a real forest that is a place of freedom. On the branches of the trees, a monkey can choose where to stay, which direction to face to, how far from the others, how many friends to meet, how high to sit, what to do, and etc. On the panels of ‘The Woods’, a person can do those, too.


Concept: the woods

The different ways people and their accomanies sit, affected by how close their relationships are.

The space between the branches of one tree and the space between the trees provides freedom for the users of the trees, such as the monkeys. By simulating the trees and the woods, I intend to create a space where people can choose where to stay, how much distance they want to keep, the height they prefer, the way they and their accompanies sit, and so on.

Activities and the shapes of people’s routes: People tend to just walk by at direction A. Many couples likes to walk or sit along the avenue at direction B. People play inn groups or individually at direction C and D, such as playing baseball, reading on the lawn, or partying.

Site Analysis ‘The Woods’ locates on the northwest corner of Jiaoer Lawn in the middle of Renmin University, where students and tourists linger, play, have parties, or just walk by. On the south and west of the lawn are two teaching buildings. On the north is the Archive Building and a wide, quiet avenue.

Types of Trees

A The smallest trees are set for passengers and people alone.

Letters a, b, c, d, e represent the five heights of the panels (0.4m, 0.8m, 1.2m, 1.6m, 2m). The closer the panels to the trunk, the lower they are. Neighboring panels of one tree should not be at the same height.

‘Neighbors’ means people living in the same neighborhood with me.

Landmarks distort our impression of a place, with remarkeable places amplified, the other places shrinked. However, the remarkable places are also tagged with stereotypes.



These exhibitions were done during my internship in MAD Architects. The exhibition in Huangshan was designed by my colleage and me, installed by me. The other two exhibitions were designed, installed and arranged by my colleage and me, with my main responsibility including installation, public relations and spot dispatching. The supervisor was the press officer Tammy Xie; my colleage was the press specialist Viola Luo.


Shanshui City Exhibition Huangshan Opening: 2014.9.17 10:00 AM Location: Exhibition Hall Crowne Plaza Hotel Taiping Lake, Huangshan, China

This is an exhibition introducing Ma Yansong’s design concept ‘Shanshui City’(a city with mountains and water) and the incarnations of this concept—his most representative works in ten years. To convey ‘Shanshui’ that comes from traditional Chinese culture, we chose to use 5m*1.2m scrolls. When walking in the exhibition hall, one cannot see everything at one time, but need to walk around. I designed the preface scroll, wrote the content, collaborated in designing layout, and took charge of the whole installation independently.

Shanshui City Exhibition at Beijing Design Week

Picture 1,2,3 are the Shanshui City Exhibtion at the Ullens Center, which lasted from 2014.9.27 to 2014.10.7. In the curating of the exhibition, I assisted with writing the preface and brochure, the making of the curtains, and contacting with the guests and media. Picture 4,5,6 are the Shanshui City Exhibition as a part of the 2014 Beijing Design Week. I took in charge of the final installation, as well as the adjustment and restoration of the displays, the scrolls and the models.


The Collection of Media Work and Other works As a journalism student, I have done a lot of media work. Interviewing, writing, filming, editing, typesetting... This is a collection of my works of Sankaijian.com, an architecural media for which I have written 57 articles, two articles, and my typesetting work for Youth RUC, the newspaper of my college as deputy editor the ‘family map’ of China City China Country Studio.

人大师生原创大剧《苏格拉底》上演 2012年 6 月 3 日晚 7 点,由中国人民大学师生共同创作 的大型原创话剧《苏格拉底》在人大明德堂震撼上演,并受到 了社会各界的广泛关注。6 月 4 日,话剧团在明德堂加演一 场。今年正值人大建校 75周年, 《苏格拉底》的演出正是人大 是编剧劳马长期 师生献给人大的华丽礼物。在这台演出背后, 而富有创造性的剧本创作,是学生艺术团团员两个多月的辛 苦排练。

主演心声 阿迪里 新 闻 学 院 2009 级 本 科 生, 在话剧《苏格拉底》中饰演 苏格拉底。 阿迪里说: “ 我看到剧本 的第一反应是太难了。”因为 剧本中有很多的原著中的哲 理性的文字,比较深刻难懂。 后来阿迪里和话剧团成员一 起琢磨,让它情节更加丰富。 通过出演苏格拉底,阿迪里 “借这个机会读了很多原典, 丰富了个人的修养。这个角色 说难是因为史书记载难以琢 磨, 简单是在于世上没人见过 苏格拉底,所以你演成什么样 就是什么样。”阿迪里说。 王恩民 法学院 2009级本科生, 在话剧《苏格拉底》中饰演美 勒托。 王恩民认为美勒托虽不 同意苏格拉底的观点,但同时 对苏格拉底个人的品质,包括

5 月 25 日,话剧团在学生活 动中心进行《苏格拉底》话剧 第一次联排。

图说: 剧中, 法庭采取陪审团投票的方式决定对苏格拉底的量刑, 最终众人投票将苏格拉底判处死刑。苏格拉底对昏聩的法官 义正言辞地指责不公正的雅典法律和愚昧的雅典市民。 和陪审员失望之极,

初识剧本: “真的很有难度!” —— —这是几乎所有演员 们接到剧本后的第一反应。作 为本剧的编剧,我校教师、作 家劳马在创作剧本之初甚至 “连剧本里的那些 担心学生们 。 台词都背不下来” 作为一部历史题材的话 剧,本剧本演绎了古希腊哲学 家苏格拉底与青年人交流探

索真理, 却受到反对诬告和不 公的审判, 最终坦然面对死亡 的故事。剧本中深刻幽默的语 言,大大加深了观众对西方哲 学智慧的理解。 尽管如此,由于剧本还原 了大量苏格拉底时代含义丰 富的真实台词,剧本还是让学 生演员们感受到不小的压力。

但演员们反复体会剧本、积极 参与剧本修改,最终征服了这 “他们不仅背下来了, 个困难。 而且能够把它表现的、诠释的 那么充分。”在这部“很有难 度”的剧本被搬上舞台之后, 劳马给了学生演员们高度的 评价, “ 这已经完全丰富和超 越了剧本。”

面对哲学性很强的剧本 初稿,演员们开始翻阅古籍, 包括柏拉图的斐多篇、申辩篇 等,并且逐个理解。 “我们把一 些非常难懂的语言进行口语 从而营造出这部戏 化的加工, 剧中美勒托的扮演 的气氛。” 者、法学院 2009级本科生王 恩民表示。

改编排练:为了呈现更好的舞台效果 “台上一分钟,台下十年 功” 。话剧团团员们开学初拿 到剧本便开始推敲和修改剧 本。经过多次推敲后,团员们 开始了历时两个月的排练。 ‘演出 “话剧团有句话是:

之前都在排练’。也许 10分钟 现在我们还在排练。” 后演出, “ 我们 王恩民对此感触颇深, 随时随地都有改,只要看到那 个地方能让这个戏更加完善, 就往哪方面努力,力求完美。”

经过一次次改编排练,团 员们不仅对台词愈加熟悉,也 逐渐走进角色内心、理解了人 物命运和每一句台词的深意。 “排练辛苦,准备工作比 中间也会遇到很多问 较困难,

通力合作: 从导演到群众演员 “全团动员” “和孙老师采取这种合作 的方式让我感觉她非常棒”, 公共管理学院 2009级本科生 王建华称赞道。他扮演古希腊 喜剧作家阿里斯托芬一角。 孙菲老师是 《苏格拉底》 的总导演, 任教于中央戏剧学 院导演系。在《苏格拉底》排演

过程中,孙老师负责总体把 控,并为演员们指导如何来表 现古希腊的戏。还和同学们一 起修改剧本,使其更有表现 力。在距离演出三周时,孙菲 老师对话剧团进行集中的突 力求达到没有错误。 击训练, 除了导演的亲自指导,话

话剧团的人员负担,体现了学 生的充分参与。“加入群众演 员能让话剧更加充实,更加体 现剧的意义。群众演员的加入 没有给排练带来太大困难,因 为经过一个月简单的培训和 基本的训练,群众演员应该都 可以胜任。”张悦玮说。

颇受好评: “学生们的表演很用心!” 演出结束后,三位主演给 自己的表现打出了分数。“如 果 我 能 力 所 能 达 到 的 是 10 分,那我给今天打 11分。”王 恩民很自信地说。而王建华给 自己只打了 7 分: “ 这是我在 人大的第 10 场戏,然而却是 我第一次演正剧,第一次演这 种角色, 所以对整体的把握拿
