This year’s Winter Market will be held at the beautiful Esplanade Hotel in Fremantle.

Cnr Marine Tce and Essex St Fremantle, Western Australia

Fremantle Train Station and Bus Port is located five minutes walking distance from the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle. Trains to and from Perth CBD operate from the Fremantle Train Station, with buses connecting to meet with the trains. There is a complimentary CAT bus that stops in front of the Hotel and runs 7 days a week.

At the same time my dad had retired from full time work and I wanted the possibility of an income for the both of us that would incorporate our passions, jewellery and native timber. After a lot of googling, trial and error, and utilizing my dad’s carpentry and wood turning experience, we came up with the jewellery that is Blue Banksia.

This ensures we minimise our own waste - in fact we have thrown very little away since we started rescuing 2012!
