What is a food chain?

-The food chain has carnivores, herbivores, omnivores and insectivores (Yago) -A food chain is formed by consumers, producers and composer (Olalla) -A food web is formed by several food chains succession of animals that eat other animals (SofĂ­a) -The food chains are animals and plants that eat other animals or plants (Andres. M) -The food chain has predators and preys (Yago) -In a food chain all living things need energy from food or the sunlight (Xan and Andres.S) Do you know the elements of a food chain?

-When animals and plants die, decomposers break down their dead bodies (Mary.V) -The first consumer in the food chain is an herbivore which is an animal that only eats plants (Olalla) -The second consumers in the food chain is a carnivore which eats other animals (Mark) -The third consumer in a food chain in an omnivore which eats all types of food (ITZIAR) -Other types of consumers in a food chain are insectivores which are animals that eat insects (JOAQUIN) -When an animal is decomposed it is transformed into humus (Yago)
