Press Release ISE 2010 Amsterdam RAI New Genelec 4000 Series at ISE 2010 Visitors to ISE 2010 will get the chance to preview an exciting development in active loudspeaker solutions, the compact and powerful, 4020A and 4030A from Genelec. These high performance twoway active loudspeakers have been designed for indoor commercial and professional installations and have many new connectivity and installation features that will deliver major benefits to systems integrators. “We’re really looking forward to introducing our new 4000 Series at ISE,” comments Lars-Olof Janflod. “We’ve looked long and hard at the systems integration market to see where improvements in audio solutions could be made - and with this series of products, we think we’ve really raised the bar in this market. In performance terms alone, our already extremely successful 8000 Series stood apart. But now with the additional 4000 Series installer-friendly features I think we can look forward to a significant increase in demand. I’d urge anyone who wants to see where audio solutions for the integration market are heading to visit our booth in Hall One.” Both models of the new 4000 Series are fitted with ‘Phoenix’ screw terminals, a system common with many other leading products in the audio visual sector. This new input method ensures an easy and secure connection, which delivers interference-free, professional quality sound. The audio performance and stress-free installation is further enhanced by the 4000 Series’ integrated amplifier. The built-in protection circuitry will also guarantee extremely high reliability of the loudspeaker system in all operating conditions as all drivers are electronically protected from signal peaks and system misuse. This single assembly, combination chassis, makes for a surprisingly compact and powerful amplified loudspeaker system which is easy to install and can be discreetly integrated into end-user environments of all types and design. The precise ‘Room Response’ controls include calibrated bass tilt, treble tilt and bass roll-off, which allow the optimization of the loudspeaker’s response to different acoustical environments and guarantee first-class sound whatever the interior design. Mounting is also simple: the integrated support points for Omnimount 20.5 series hardware on the enclosure back panel and the 3/8” UNC threaded hole on the base of the enclosure as well as the wide variety of mounting options and accessories available from Genelec provide versatility and choice to suit all installation scenarios. Find out how the 4020A and 4030A can help your audio installation by visiting Genelec on booth 1K73/1L72 at ISE 2010. Stay tuned for the Commercial Installation dedicated section of our website coming soon!
