AUDAC Announces new digital power amplifiers AUDAC, the Belgian manufacturer of sound solutions, which is known for its wide and exclusive range for fixed installations, jumps into the new year by announcing a complete new range of amplifiers.

The new series offers the perfect expansion for their existing range of low impedance amplifiers, which lacked of amplifiers with lower power capacity for fixed installations.

This lack is now completely filled by the new DPA Digital Power Amplifiers range. The DPA series combines the additional advantages of digital power amplifiers, such as the excellent efficiency, the lower weight and the compact size with an excellent sound quality.

The DPA series includes three different configurations, which are all available in different powers ranging from 75 Watt to 250 Watt per channel.The first configuration is the standard two-channel version, suitable for all kinds of stereo applications. The second configuration is the three-channel version, which is suitable for stereo configurations with an additional subwoofer channel with active crossover network, offering the perfect solution for applications where stereo sound is desired, in combination with a bass cabinet. The last available standard configuration is the 4 channel version, with 4 individually controllable channels, offering the perfect solution for applications with multiple speakers. Finally, it can also be used for powering Two-Zone systems, in combination with a Two-Zone pre-amplifier.

The perfect bass solution To deliver the perfect solution for a clear and natural bass sound in various fixed installations, ranging from restaurants to bars or pubs or even in conference rooms, AUDAC designed the SX408A Active subwoofer.

The SX408A is an active, tandem powered subwoofer that is capable of producing an incredibly powerful and clear bass sound.

Besides the 8� driver, which is especially constructed for this product, this cabinet also contains an integrated class H amplifier, which ensures the highest efficiency level with very low distortion.

This integrated amplifier not only delivers the power to the 8� low frequency driver, but also delivers a power of up to 2 x 200 Watt RMS for powering satellite loudspeakers.

What makes this cabinet superior to other cabinets of its kind is the integrated three-stage limiter circuit. This makes the cabinet totally indestructible and ensures that you can enjoy maximum performance in all circumstances, in combination with optimal protection for your equipment and the best sound quality with the least distortion.

The cabinet is designed in a way that it can be mounted unobtrusively in every application, and it can even be mounted to a wall with a wall-bracket. The aluminum rear side provides the cooling for the amplifier ensuring absolutely zero annoying hum or buzz sounds. Another feature which is an advantage in fixed installations is the possibility to connect a flush mount wall volume controller.
