SANYO presents brilliant line-up at ISE 2010 Premiere of the PLC-XF1000 installation projector with QuaDrive technology Munich, January 11, 2010 ---- At the Integrated Systems Europe, one of Europe's most important trade fairs for professional audio/video solutions and electronic system integration, SANYO Sales & Marketing Europe GmbH will present highlights from the largest projector line-up on the market, as well as its powerful professional monitors. On an exhibition space of more than 250 square metres, SANYO invites booth visitors to get acquainted with the options of modern image display. During the trade fair, which will be held in Amsterdam from 2 to 4 February, SANYO will be on hand in hall 10, booth I 118. At the trade fair, the company will debut its installation projector PLC-XF1000, a new WXGA projector in the XM category, and the high-luminance PLC-XU116. PLC-XF1000: Highlight projection on 50+ square metres The new PLC-XF1000 is SANYO's visual highlight on more than 50 square metres. With a light output of 12,000 ANSI lumens each, four devices will deliver superb colours in connection with QuaDrive technology. A mobile PLC-XF47, the world's brightest LCD projector with 15,000 ANSI lumens will complement this installation in the best possible manner, projecting it over the entire stand area. World premiere for WXGA projector in XM category This model will celebrate its world premiere at the ISE 2010, impressively demonstrating the properties a projector needs in order to meet advanced technological requirements. The high image brightness, low-maintenance operation thanks to automatic air filter replacement, flexible installation through motorised lens shift, focus and corner keystone correction make the projector series a highlight. In addition to XGA resolution, devices that will be available in Spring 2010 also feature WXGA resolution and inorganic LCD panels for high-contrast display. PLC-XU116: High-luminance model for difficult missions The third new item is the PLC-XU116. This successor of the successful PLC-XU115 comes with numerous enhancements. With its extremely high luminance of 4,500 ANSI lumens, this model guarantees brilliant projections even under difficult light conditions or on large projection surfaces. It boasts a compact design and a weight of only 3.5 kg. In this way, it is suitable for mobile use despite its advanced brightness. The inorganic LCD panels, which promise higher contrast values and longer life, are new and improved. Thanks to their vertical and horizontal keystone correction and corner keystone corrections, it offers very flexible adjustment options even under adverse conditions. The WLAN connection takes place via protected Wi-Fi access, and the 11n network standard ensures highly reliable transmission of large amounts of data. At the trade fair, SANYO will show how data can be transmitted from the data source to the projector via USB cable.
Specialists for short distances With the successor of PLC-WXL46, which will also be presented for the first time at the ISE 2010, SANYO will provide a preview for spring 2010. This device, with wide-screen resolution and an especially short projection distance, provides a high image brightness and is particularly effective for use with interactive whiteboards and in conference rooms. Various other projectors will also be presented at SANYO's booth. With its WXGA resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels, the PLC-WXU700 is ideal for wide-screen applications. The bright mobile projector with 3,800 ANSI lumens is especially effective in a WLAN setting. Video content can be transmitted from a source to the projector via wireless connection at a rate of 150 Mbps, which corresponds to the 11n draft 2.0 network standard. Three other devices draw attention to a major trend in the field of business and education projectors: large projections from short distances. PLC-XL50A and PLC-XL51A are the masters of short projection distances. From a distance of only 8.1 cm, these projectors generate a picture size of 80". Visitors will be able to observe the flexible deployment options at the ISE 2010 by means of a 360° installation. The PDG-DWL100 is another short-distance specialist. This DLP device features 2,700 ANSI lumens and an integrated 8 W loudspeaker that make it a genuine multimedia projector. The PDG-DET100L is SANYO's professional model for medical scenarios. The DICOM® simulation mode provides optimum greyscale capabilities for the precise display of X-ray images. Moreover, it stands out with a high luminance of 7,500 ANSI lumens and a contrast value of 7.500:1. The PDG-DHT100L shows how high-definition data content in Full HD can be transmitted over distances of up to 30 m via the HD wireless system. This functions 24 hours a day at a brightness of 6,500 ANSI lumens. Indoor and outdoor monitors: 52SR2 and PID-42AS1 In the field of monitors, SANYO will present two professional models that are resistant even to extreme environmental conditions. The weatherproof monitor 52SR2 is water and dust-proof according to the industrial IP66 standard and is therefore perfectly suitable for outdoor use. SANYO will show the monitor in a pool with permanent rain in order to demonstrate the resilience of the monitor. The winter mode allows use at temperatures as low as -20°C. The vandalism-proof front pane and the corrosion-proof housing enable secure use in public areas. The daylight readable panel ensures optimum readability in an environmentally-friendly way by reflecting the incoming light, thus amplifying the brightness of the monitor to up to 1,500 cd/m2 under bright light. The PID-42AS1 is designed for indoor use. Here as well, the daylight readable panel increases the luminance of the monitor to up to 1,500 cd/m2 in bright ambient light. The monitor is therefore ideal for deployment at points of sale or other locations and features perfect readability, even under difficult light conditions.
