SpinetiX intensifies digital signage profile at ISE 2010 Focus on digital signage application and education for European partners and show visitors

Lausanne, Switzerland, December 10, 2009. Swiss digital signage hardware manufacturer, SpinetiX S.A. will showcase their HMP100™ Hyper Media Player in a variety of digital signage configurations on stand #12D85 at Integrated Systems Europe 2010 being held between 2-4 February, 2010 at the Amsterdam RAI. As part of the InfoComm Education programme, Serge Konter, Marketing Manager at SpinetiX will present Digital Signage – an exploration of embedded systems versus PC based solutions for use in digital signage networks which will take place on 4 February 2010. More information can be found at: http://www.spinetix.com/news/infocommtraining. Serge Konter, Marketing Manager says, “At SpinetiX, we pride ourselves in offering open-standards hardware for digital signage applications and ISE is the ideal opportunity for the European professional audio community to view our enhanced SpinetiX HMP100™Hyper Media Player, which offers a cost effective, dedicated and stand alone alternative to traditional PC-based distributed video to deliver content. Already gaining success, the HMP100 has already been shortlisted as a finalist in the video processing category for the 2010 InAVation Awards which will be presented at the official InAVate awards ceremony at the ISE show.” The HMP100 uses open software standards that meet the growing demand for affordable and targeted messaging. Based on the SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) platform, the HMP100 can mix streaming video, encoded video or images and audio file formats with other dynamic information such as RSS or XML. The HMP100 is offered with SpinetiX’s Hyper Media Director (HMD) software which allows simple content creation, management and scheduling. The latest version of the software includes interactivity via mouse or touch-screen devices as well as built in support for synchronized video wall creation. This allows users to easily generate presentations in any configuration, shape or aspect ratio without adding expensive and specialized hardware. Because HMP100 uses open software standards it enables users to provide custom applications such as in hotels or transport directories. A number of such projects have already been rolled out across Europe. Media Contacts
