Facts & Figures 2011
The No.1 show for professional AV and electronic systems integration presented by
The statistics behind our success
Welcome to the 2011 edition of the ISE Facts & Figures report. As you may already be aware, ISE 2011 was the most successful AV and systems integration event ever held in Europe. In fact, it drew more attendees than any dedicated AV tradeshow held anywhere in the world. Our 2010 event had already put ISE into the Top 10 Fastest Growing Tradeshows Worldwide, according to EXPO Magazine. We fully expect the 2011 edition to boost our position further in the exhibition industry’s ‘hit parade’. While our record-breaking total attendance of 34,870 dominated the media’s post-show headlines in 2011, it is the quality of our visitors, not just their sheer numbers, which really drives the ISE success story. Before ISE 2011 had closed its doors, we had already sold out the show’s footprint for 2012, forcing us to open additional hall space at our Amsterdam RAI venue. If a tradeshow can rebook so much space on-site it means only one thing – that exhibitors have already done enough business on the show floor to justify their expenditure.
If you have already decided to exhibit at ISE 2012, we hope these numbers will help you to tailor your company’s preshow marketing activities and give you some guidance on how you approach the show itself. If you have not yet committed to a presence at ISE 2012 (and space is running out fast!), we hope that the quality of attendees demonstrated by this data, the geographical spread of those attendees, the technologies they are charged with buying or specifying and the budgets they have at their disposal, will persuade you to make that commitment. At ISE, we are dedicated to our customers’ success and we are always open to inquiries, comments and suggestions from our exhibitors. If, after reading through this report, you have questions that remain unanswered, then our team will be happy to assist if they can. You will find a full list of our sales contacts at the back. We look forward to welcoming you to Amsterdam in 2012.
The ISE Facts & Figures report, which derives its data from the registration form completed by every ISE 2011 attendee, sheds more light on the quality of our audience.
