ISE management employs general security when the exhibit hall and static display are closed. However, ISE, RAI Exhibition Centre and ISE’s official contractors are not responsible for any loss, theft, damage, injury, or destruction of exhibitor's property or the property of its agents or employees, by or from any cause whatsoever. 3 General Stand Information 3.1 Arrangement and Removal of Exhibition Goods The goods on display should be kept within the prescribed stand limits; mobile parts may not be moved beyond the stand limits even in order to demonstrate the operation of the exhibited goods. Parts of the exhibition goods which constitute a danger (including sharp protrusions) should be screened off. During the hours that the exhibition is open to the public, exhibited goods may not be covered up. The organizers have the right to remove (or cause to be removed) any such cover, without any liability on their part. Vehicles, machines, vessels etc. which run on fuel and have been admitted to the exhibition may be brought into the building as exhibition goods only if the fuel tanks and hoses are empty and properly and permanently sealed. Battery connections must have been loosened. Exhibitors are not permitted to remove goods from their stand during the exhibition, unless an exemption has been granted by the organizers or persons acting on their behalf. The RAI Exhibition Centre does not permit exhibitors to use floors, walls, roofs or other parts of the lounge or the building for stand construction and/or to damage them by using nails, glue, paint, adhesive tape or other means of attachment. Stands, stand parts should also therefore be painted in advance. 3.2 Badge readers As an ISE 2010 exhibitor, you have access to the RAI web shop for information about the registration services for exhibitors before, during and after ISE 2010. All registration services such as badge readers are explained in detail. In addition, you can request a quotation or directly order services. Please go to the RAI web shop for more information and orders. You can enter the web shop by clicking on the link in the online manual in the chapter about Badge readers. Please log in to the exhibitor login using your username and password provided by the organizers. 3.3 Badges Stand personnel th
This service is available from the 8 of October 2009. Registration of your stand personnel will be possible online in the registration area. A module called 'Stand Personnel Registration' is available there. When registering more than one person, the registration process allows you to save considerable time by reusing the previously entered generic information about your company and you just need to add the personal details of the staff member to be registered (use the button 'add like' for this!). If you need to make changes after the initial registration of your staff, you can go into the website again, view the list of those that have already been registered and make additions and changes online.
Page | 10
Important: The badge will provide their sole means of access to the exhibition halls during the open days of the exhibition. Apart from giving access to the exhibition halls, the badge is also an electronic business card. It is therefore of great importance that at the time of registering all personal details are filled in accurately. By the end of each stand personnel registration a bar coded confirmation will be displayed on your screen! Make sure you print this and hand it over to your stand crew. With this confirmation the badge can be collected onsite. Also personnel registered before the 14th of January will receive their badge per post. Please click on the link in the online manual at the chapter about badges for stand personnel to go to the N200 Exhibitor Info Center. Please log in using your username and password provided by the organization. For more information contact: N200 Mr Michiel Bovee Donkere Spaarne 24zw 2011 JG Haarlem The Netherlands Fax. +31 20 448 9701 Website: www.n200.com exposales@n200.com 3.4 Contractor Passes Together with the Badges for Stand personnel each exhibitor will receive a fixed number of Contractor Badges. The Contractor badges only allow access during Build up & Breakdown. 3.5 Build up and break down rules For more information, please view the time table in chapter 1.1 The time frames, location and space near the exhibition halls are limited during build up and breakdown. Therefore all vehicles arriving at the RAI Exhibition Centre for the delivery and collection of exhibits or stand fittings must report to the RAI Traffic coordinator at the reception at P1. All delivery and collection of goods must be registered with CEVA Showfreight before build up starts. Make sure you mention the day, time and license plate number of your vehicle. TNT will allow vehicles on to the show grounds based on a planning of registered arrivals. Unannounced deliveries and collections will be given a loading time that fits the existing planning and will be asked to wait on a separate parking area outside the show grounds until unloading space is available near the halls. To access the unloading areas near the halls it is required to carry a vehicle access pass with your vehicle. You have to leave this behind the windscreen when you have to leave your vehicle. These passes will be handed out at parking P1. Please note that on Monday 1 February, 2010 all aisles must be cleared by 18:00 hours. During breakdown trailers and lorries will be allowed on to the show grounds from 21:00 hours on Thursday. Again all collection of goods must be registered with CEVA Showfreight before breakdown starts. Cars and small vans are allowed on the show grounds from 16:30 hours on Thursday.
