Dear Shopkeeper, It was just about two years ago that Fibre Mood said, ‘Hello world!’, the product of a passion to get as many people as possible excited about sewing their own stylish wardrobes. Over 60,000 Sewistas from all over the world have joined Fibre Mood, since. Being part of that cosy Sewista community is a treat. Sewistas don’t just help and inspire one another across national lines – they do the same for us too!

Right from the start, shopkeepers have been a pivotal link in Fibre Mood’s success. Why? Shopkeepers have the professional expertise inhouse to help newbies and experienced Sewistas get ahead. And admit it, when it comes to fabric, you’ve simply got to let it glide through your fingers, touch it, be able to picture the sensation well enough to start daydreaming about it, right?

Our dream is to get as many shopkeepers to be Fibre Mood ambassadors as possible. And the ultimate goal? To get as many Sewistas as possible – whether they’re young, old, newbies or advanced – into sewing and creating their own fashionable wardrobes. So, at heart, we share the same goal – to get loads of people to share our passion.

Paper patterns are only available for the most popular patterns.

That way we hedge ever yone’s bets. We print the various pattern pieces next to each other on a large sheet, i.e. no cutting and pasting as with the PDF patterns. The step-by-step instructions are available in a separate A4 booklet in four languages (NL-FR-DU-EN).

The pattern and the booklet are packaged in an envelope that lists the pattern and the notions on the outside.

Fibre Mood workshops in your shop – Sew Along!

For every new issue of Fibre Mood, you, as a shopkeeper, get to pick one or more patterns that you would like to base a workshop on. You pick because you’re the one who really knows what your customers want!

What’s in it for you?

Right after the latest issue has been published, you organise your own Sew Along workshop. You set the date, price, number of participants, and how long the workshop will last. As the shop hosting the Sew Along, you get to keep all the registration fees.

Every Sew Along participant buys the selected Fibre Mood pattern. They can either buy it from you in the shop (or elsewhere) or buy it in our e-shop.

The magazine is always published well in advance so that participants have enough time to get the right pattern ready.

What can you expect from us?

Fibre Mood will launch an online campaign for the Sew Alongs. We announce the where’s (shops) and the when’s (star t dates) of the workshops.

Announcements will be made in our magazine, on our Facebook page, on our Fibre Mood website, and in our newsletters. All that information will end up in our huge Fibre Mood community. Well...at least if you let us know that you are organising a workshop in time. It’s not hard. Just send a quick e-mail to zara.vynck@fibremood.com.

You’re also free to launch your own campaign as long as you remember to mention Fibre Mood. That way we all get something out of it! Before you kick off your own campaign, please take advantage of the campaign images in our B2B shop media kit.
