EQUILIBRIO El otoño y el invierno están a la vuelta de la esquina. ¿Tú también sueñas con acogedoras reuniones en casa, en torno al tenue resplandor de la chimenea, o con tener un rato para ti una tranquila tarde domingo? Resulta extraño escribir esto después de haber pasado tanto tiempo confinados, pero es la verdad. Estoy deseando redescubrir la vida dentro de casa, ahora que es porque se quiere, no por obligación. Durante el verano, quisimos recuperar todo eso que habíamos echado de menos con agendas hasta arriba de encuentros con familiares y amigos que no habíamos visto en mucho tiempo. Sin embargo, eso nos llevó a tener sentimientos encontrados; algunos de nosotros extrañamos esos calendarios vacíos y la cuidadosa planificación de los días sin la presión del mundo exterior. Los meses de otoño e invierno prometen darnos el tiempo que necesitamos para volver a centrarnos y recuperar el equilibrio en nuestras vidas. Equilibrio, es también la sensación que me produce la nueva edición. Las blusas y los vestidos románticos se contraponen a los pantalones de polipiel y a los abrigos de invierno. Y hay otro tipo de equilibrio, el del tiempo que pasas a solas, sin interrupciones, cosiendo ropa bonita, en comparación con el hecho de llevarla puesta después en alegre compañía. Este mes de octubre, hemos ampliado un poco la línea Fibre Mood con la incorporación de ‘James’, nuestro primer patrón para hombre en dos años. James es una camiseta sencilla de manga larga, que puede descargarse de forma gratuita en nuestra página web. Es perfecta para que nuestros hermanos costureros den sus primeros pasos en el mundo de la costura. Y en enero, habrá otros cinco nuevos patrones de hombre, para Sewist(a)s principiantes y más avanzados. Así que, que venga ya ese tiempo dentro de casa. Lo pasaremos juntos en armonía.
