EVENWICHT De herfst en de winter komen er weer aan en dat betekent haardvuur, gezellig binnen zitten met aangenaam gezelschap, of op je eentje een luie zondag doorbrengen. Het is vreemd om dit neer te schrijven na al die verplichte binnentijd. En toch: ik kijk ernaar uit om die binnentijd te herontdekken, nu het mag en niet meer moet. De voorbije zomermaanden hebben we een inhaalbeweging gemaakt met overvolle agenda’s vol familie- en vriendengemis. Maar het was dubbel, velen onder ons verlangden ook terug naar die lege agenda’s, naar tijd die je helemaal zelf kon invullen. De herfst- en wintermaanden bieden zich beloftevol aan als een periode waar alles terug in een evenwichtige plooi kan vallen. Evenwichtig, dat is ook het gevoel dat ik krijg bij dit magazine. Romantische blouses en jurken, in balans gebracht met stoere broeken in nepleer en winterjassen. Of die andere balans: zuivere eigentijd waarin je mooie kleren kan naaien, om daarna te dragen in vrolijk gezelschap. Ook binnen het aanbod van Fibre Mood voegen we meer evenwicht toe. In oktober lanceerden we ‘James’, ons eerste nieuwe mannenpatroon sinds 2 jaar. Het is een eenvoudige T-shirt met lange mouwen geworden, gratis te downloaden op onze website. Precies perfect voor de vele Sew Bros die hun eerste naaistappen zetten. In januari volgen nog vijf nieuwe mannenpatronen. Voor zowel beginnende als wat gevorderde Sewist(a)s. Laat die binnentijd dus maar komen. We vullen ze samen evenwichtig in. Groetjes, Isabelle
