HEXAGRAM Quarantine facility Design
Citation : Top 8 in India Project : National Competition Team size : Four Place : Delhi, India Year : 2020
Since March 2020, we are living in uncertain times and as citizens of a developing economy, we are posed with an additional challenge of using our resources sparingly so as to ensure minimum impact on our economy. It has been an important question for the architecture and design community to address since the coronavirus outbreak began. To aid government’s effort, the Architecture fraternity must come up with cost-effective solutions for quarantine facilities that are in compliance with social distancing norms.

The proposed design focuses on quick and easy construction using customised sandwich panels. Each panel comprises a core of EPS (Expanded Polystyrene), skinned on both sides with metal sheet. Sandwich panels are not structural aterials but curtain materials. The structural forces are carried by the steel framework to which sandwich panels are attached.

Socio-Cultural Environment
Interaction essentially means that both people and buildings have agency, enabling the creation of conversations between the two in real-time. Interactive architecture tends to create space of intelligent exchanges, created by highly curated, personalized, and reactive responses. These blur the boundaries between the physical and the virtual, engaging the audience in endless conversations.
Representing the users in the building, housing façade is composed of colored units for 3 distinct typologies, stacked together to create an interlocked cuboidal form. Also creating a sense of uniqueness and ownership among the students for their own dwelling units
The façade concept aims to break the monotony of academic blocks and allows to develop a sense of creativity and vibrance within the student community

THE CARAVAN SHOW Reviving the lost caravan tourism in India
Project : Academic Team size : Individual Place : Bhopal, India Year : 2019
Imagine a space in which you cann travel, sleep, eat and repeat! Caravans allow tourists to drive their own cars and travel in a group of more than two people through different areas, territories and countries. This not only provides tourists with comfort and flexibility during their trip, but also challenges their driving skills and helps them freely explore nature andd the local culture of the places they visit along the way. By driving their own cars, visitors can time their journey suitably and have a break any time along the way to pose for photos, camp, join local festivals or take time to learn more about the life, culture and people of the local area, contributing to their unforgettable memories of the trip. Concept of spatial zoning is derived from the 5 Es of experiential design
