I am an architect|designer for roughly 4 years now and an artist since I was young. I believe architecture is not just a practice, its a LIFESTYLE. My inclination and continuous desire to learn through studies and work experience makes me work harder! I aspire to become an architect who understands and identifies people’s needs, a designer to design opportunities and create impact, and a storyteller to share stories and spread awareness through architecture.

What if buildings could
breathe?
A brochure was designed for Ant Studio’s sustainable natural air cooling product, Beehive. It shows all the necessary details like instalment, manufacturing, design, working, etc. A poster was also designed for Ant Studio’s sustainable natural air cooling product, Beehive. It was designed to be put up in Parsons School of Design.
CoolAnt is a modern way of redefining natural ventilation in our built spaces for thermal comfort and quality air. By combining traditional methods and modern techniques. Ant studio is working on building facades that can provide effective passive cooling, fresh air and facilitate vertical greens.
A furniture company which designs kids furniture for different schools all over India. They wanted a catalogue designed for their new kindergarten series.
Parametric products were designed by Rat[LAB] for VV Residence is Safdurjung Enclave. A handbook was made for the products, to be further used in future for design references.

THIRD SEMESTER | CEPT University FACULTY: Jwalant Mahadevwala, Arpi Maheshwari DURATION: 4 months
brief. Ray-Ban wants to create a portable and experiential event pop-up store for a series of sponsored events. A kinetic track system is devised where the position of the fin on tracks results in arcs that vary in height and span. A series of mechanisms were tried where arcs are created ,starting with a homogeneous material that return to their original flattened state after removal of the force, or separate structural members with different skin coverings.
Track mechanism Position of base point of arc on track Fin / Covering Roofing material - homogeneous or skin + structure Tracks for movement
min clear height- 8'
When a fin moves tracks, the resultant arc varies in height and span depending on the position of the ends on the tracks. With an intention to develop a structure that deforms on application of a mechanical force, an attempt was made to use this to develop a system that uses tracks to provide a defined motion. With the ultimate intention of making a kinetic system a series of mechanisms were where arches are created ,starting with a homogeneous material that return to their original flattened state after removal of the force, or separate structural ribs with different coverings. movement range for track

COOLANT BINARY (0,1) Taking an inspiration from the traditional usage of terracotta pots as planters, we tried to design this installation to be used as a facade in future for buildings to decrease their dependency on air conditioners.
COOLANT BEEHIVE By combining traditional methods and modern techniques, we designed this facade getting inspired from the pattern of a beehive. A modern way of redefining air quality by natural methods in our built spaces for thermal comfort.
Mechanism
Ant Studio has developed a natural air coolant called Beehive. The Beehive is a modular facade unit that cools your space through a combination of evaporative cooling and natural ventilation. Using the Beehive as a second skin for your facade, which is thoughtfully designed to reduce the cooling demand of your spaces drastically, you can save energy & electricity bills.

brief. The design development was based on a simple inter-weaving of the strips which was an integral part of the entire project: The fact, that even a very simple manipulation set such as the position, length and number of strips in each module could be varied almost infinitely, resulted in numerous variations By varying the length and direction of weaving the veneer-strip, the system was created to achieve maximum stability and diversity in form, which led to the development of an entire structure.
