Simple Moringa Recipes By Ishka Farms


About us Ishka farms presents a series of healthy recipes using moringa leaf powder which produced in our farm. We are including these recipes for tho who are people who are confused about using the powdered moringa.

Ingredients

Moringa Leaf Bread Makes approximately 24 slices

100 gms dry moringa leaf/powder

50 gms wheat flour

25 gms sugar

10 gms salt

11 gms gluten

5 gms improver

12 gms yeast

30 ml water

Preparation Preheat the oven to 160 C.

Sleve the flour and mix in all ingredients

Add enough water and knead well.

3.

Cut the dough in 2 pieces

Moringa Leaf Bread

Fold the dough and allow it to prove in the bread mould.

Makes approximately 24 slices

5.

Bake at 165 C in a preheated oven for 35 minutes.

6.

Cool and slice.



Almond Smoothie 15 minutes • Serves 1

Ingredients •

100 gms dry moringa leaf/powder

Soya milk 250 ml

Soaked almonds 10

Honey 10 ml

Preparation 1.

Soak the moringa leaves in water fo 15minutes.

Blend all the items and serve cold.


Moringa Leaves Cookies Makes 30 small cookies

Ingredients 100 gms dry moringa leaf/powder 250 gms butter 250 gms icing sugar 1 egg 250 gms Flour 5 gms Baking powder


Preparation

Moringa Leaf Cookies

Beat the butter and sugar till fluffy

Add the eggs to it and mix well.

Sieve the flour and baking powder in another bowl

Add moringa leaf powder, butter, sugar, egg mixture into the bowl and incorporate it.

Roll out and punch cookie balls. Place ogreased baking tray.

6.

Bake in a preheated oven at 155C for 13 minutes.


Moringa Leaves Chicken Kebab Serves 2

Ingredients 100 gms dry moringa leaf/powder 1 whole chicken 50 ml hung curd Salt to taste. 100 gms ginger


Moringa Leaf Chicken Kebab

100 gms garlic

Juice for 2 lime

5 gms cumin powder

5gms Kasoori methi

2 gms chaat masala

1 gm black salt

20 gms coriander leaf

Clean and cut the chicken into quaters along with skin. Marinate it with ginger garlic paste, salt and lme juice for half an hour. Make a fine paste of all the other ingredients and marinate the chicken with this paste for 2 hours. Bake it in a preheated oven for 15 minutes at 180 C. Serve with tandoor salad, pickled radish, tamarind and mint sauce.
