Explainatory Video of the project This Miniature illustration of the design is inspired from the buddha wheel of life which illustrates in an abstract form. The outer circle shows the terrain of NH3 and inner circle shows the activites of rest stop design.

Modular Toilet
Used as emergency stops at certain intervals possibly near to disaster prone area with facility of a compost toilet, warm rooms and first aid kit.

The Amenities provided performance with facility to help people with goods storage, trauma center and overnight stay

MODULAR TOILETS
Modular toilets are designed for shorter intervals which is designed to have minimum maintainance. On ground floor it has a warm room and a compost pit that helps genrate manure for local farmers. These toilets can pe placed at shorter intervals of 25km away from landslide prone zone.

1.The blocks split into two to maintain existing trees in the center of the site.
3. The form is divided four ellipse w.r.t to its functions. This allows to have different node of interaction spaces.
2. The oval structure is achieved to maintain the wind flow.
4. The exoskeleton helps structure to have free flowing plan with less columns in the design.

Mandi Short film “MANDI - Work in the city” was the result of Cinema and Architecture elective conducted by Prof. Smita Dalvi; focused on showcasing lives of people working in the Mumbai city. The film in its third person point of view showcases Meher market, one of the oldest vegetable markets in Mumbai. The focal point being the people, their daily hustle and loyalty to their work in supplying fresh vegetables to the city. The film documents their daily cycle of activities and how the market space warps and adapts with them. The film was co-directed & shot by Utsav Chaudhury and Ishwar Bhat
