DEL TURA FLAG COMMUNICATIONS FROM HOMETOWN AMERICA
Recently, there has been some heated controversy in the community regarding political flags. As a result, your HOA Board President reached out to Fred Taylor and asked for the policy regarding political flags being flown on Del Tura residential properties. The following is the direct response from Fred Taylor: Good morning. My comments are as follows; Section 11(G) of the Del Tura rules and regulations state “Any site improvements, other than existing improvements provided by the community owner, shall be at the expense of the resident, as approved in writing by the community owner, prior to commencement.” Therefore, the installation of a flagpole or flag on the home site or home would require managements approval. Since Hometown
America’s policy is not to have any political flags on a home site here at Del Tura, such improvement will not be granted by the Del Tura management office. Please note, this rule applies to political flags inappropriately displayed inside a garage or screened-in room that is visible from outside of the home site. Have a great week! Thank you, Fred Taylor - Community General Manager, Del Tura Phase I, LL UPDATE: Although flags are not allowed, Fred has allowed an 18” x 24” sign to be placed in the yard. Please contact the HTA office for additional information.

Please keep our sidewalks open for their intended purpose. Our streets are sufficiently wide enough to handle our vehicle and still permit
traffic to pass easily. If you have contractors working on your behalf, please remind them of this request as well. Also, please keep your garbage off the sidewalks as well. Place it at the end of your driveway or in the grass. Attention to this request will result in a happier and safer neighborhood for all of us!
