ISLEWORTH GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB LEGENDS VOLUME 54 OCTOBER 2022 WHAT’S INSIDE FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER 18 YEARS OF COLLEGIATE GOLF MIX & MINGLE MONSTER MASH FEATURED REAL ESTATE
Pumpkin Carving Family Night

18 Years of Collegiate Golf

Dear Members,

hope that all are well after Hurricane Ian and we thank our devoted staff at the Club for their continous cleanup efforts over the last several days. We also hope that you have enjoyed the summer and some of our wonderful, new Club events including “A Night in Tulum.” We all are looking forward to the busier fall season with more Club activities, vitality and terrific cooler weather.

The Isleworth traditional event favorites take center stage as well with the Member Mix & Mingle and Monster Mash, which brings so much of our Club community together.

The summer maintenance carried out on the golf course was important and the new mainline irrigation installation project was completed. This gives us a head start and prepares us for the subsequent golf course refurbishment in 2024. Sam and his team did a fantastic job this summer and are working hard to be ready for the upcoming tournament season. Over the next few weeks you will see pine straw, our annual flowers, shrubs and tree color, overseeding and faster greens which position us for the highest playing condition for season.

We continue to work on various other Club enhancements including the new “Prime Vault” for premium meats which now allows our culinary team to offer in-house dry-aging steaks, as well as utilizing our own Isleworth honey and new herb garden, which gives us the freshest farm-to-table ingredients for our dishes. The monthly “Around the World” menu specials have also been well received and continue to encourage our entire staff to look for ways to delight our Members and continuously raise the Isleworth special standards of excellence.

ESTATE

As we turn to a busier time at the Club with golf and tennis season and schedules in full swing, we ask all Members to remind themselves, families and guests about our core Club rules. Starting with a cornerstone of respect for all staff and fellow Members, on the sporting teams and competitions we are reminded to respect our teammates, our captains, and opponents. Good sportsmanship needs to be our Isleworth norm and is integral to the community and Club standards we all hold dear.

Our competitions are a hallmark of the sporting aspect of the Isleworth Club experience and we look for all to play by the rules and exhibit good sportsmanship in all aspects of play.

Isleworth is an extraordinary Club community by every measure and it is a privilege to lead the Club along with our dedicated staff team. We know much of our past and future success hinges on our wonderful Membership embracing and maintaining the same commitment to Isleworth and keeping this community a refuge for their family and friends with its unique brand of casual elegance.

Your support of our staff and all aspects of this Club community is greatly appreciated. We look forward to seeing you at the Club and to a busy and exciting last three months of 2022.
