BRAND IDENTITY Brand Identity is a visual form that is designed to create a set of consistent standards to graphically represent the Wisconsin Granite brand. Having this standard as a guide allows for consistency and accuracy across all graphic design work. It also helps to build recognition for brand imaging. The Wisconsin Granite brand must be represented across all media platforms using the standards, guidelines and graphics contained in this manual.

CO MP ON EN TS G, W Wiconsin Granite is a well-established local business. The name itself also emphasizes local values. Therefore, the initials of the company has become the face of the brand, G-W
TEXT The unique proper font for this letter this combination is created by using cubical forms.

One the most crucial parts of this logo is its initials. Create the whole form with this concept, while also making the initials recognizable as a kitchen/floor plan. Simplify and stylize the logo initials in a single form that is recognizable as the letters W-G with this perspective.

VISUAL GUIDELINES Following these guidelines will play an important role for Wisconsin Granite in communicating for all future interactions. Eps, ai, extension files (vector) should be used for all printed materials' extensions. For pixel-base projects .jpeg ones should primarily be used. It is also recommended to contact your vendor for their preferred file extension before finalizing your submission.

ZO NE S EX CL US ION EXCLUSION ZONES To maximize the best possible visual appearance, the logo needs a space. Having an exclusion zone locks up this space with adjusted standards. Please use this standard with every graphic platform that includes the Wisconsin Granite Logo.Â

THE RIGHT LOGO The Wisconsin Granite logo must be used in the same exact form as in this brand manual. Variations, Color, Exclusion Zones and all other standards must follow the guidelines of this identity catalogue.
INCORRECT USE 01 Do not change or alter the colors of the logo. It should always be presented in 100% of the same color. 02 Do not ever stretch, distort or rotate the logomark or logotype. 03 Do not modify the logo with effects such as 3D rendering or drop shadows. 04 Do not alter the relationship between the marque and the logotype. Do not try to alternate logotype. 05 Do not outline the logo mark or logotype. Use the same exact version shown in this manual. 06 Do not create versions with lines not on logomark or logotype.

CO LO RS TA ND AR DS BRAND COLOR The Wisconsin Granite logo and logotype must always use the same colors: Gray Black and Red. It is the color of one of the signature Brand of Wisconsin Wisconsin Badger. Gray is the color of intellect, wisdom and balance. Black is the color of power and can evoke strong emotions. Red is known as stimulating and is color of energy and change.

In the case of a black red and gray background, the logoform should be used as white with all three elements of emblem, logotype and the corporate tagline. If it needs to be used as single color on white, the logo should be used as red.
