2021-2027 Erasmus + Program The new term (2021-2027) Erasmus+ Program budget has been approved by the agreement reached by the European Parliament and the Council. With a dedicated budget of more than €26 billion, made up of €24.5 billion in current prices and an additional top-up of €1.7 billion in 2018 prices, the new programme will not only be more inclusive and innovative but also more digital and greener. It will also support new flagship initiatives, such as European Universities, Erasmus Teacher Academies, Centres of Vocational Excellence and DiscoverEU. In addition to that, The ECHE Results for 2021-2027 have been announced. The number of higher education institutions holding ECHE in Turkey is now 195. Abdullah Gül University is one of these universities. The Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) provides the general quality framework for European and international cooperation activities a higher education institution (HEI) may carry out within the

Erasmus+ Programme. The award of an Erasmus Charter for Higher Education is a pre-requisite for all HEIs located in a Programme country and willing to participate in any of the three key activities of Erasmus+.

Erasmus Talks Erasmus Days 2020 Erasmus Days is a unique opportunity to organize an event, share Erasmus experience or spread the word about projects. It is described as three days of celebration of the Erasmus+ Programme in Europe and beyond. International mobility and European citizenship are once again at the heart of the #Erasmus Days 2020. AGU Erasmus Office organized Erasmus Talks programme during ErasmusDays. We talked about Erasmus study and internship mobility. Our student, Dhia Daamouche who is the alumni of the programme shared his Erasmus internship experience and answered the questions of the attendees.


Online Info Sessions

AGU Erasmus Office organized Erasmus info session within the framework of AGU GLB courses. We talked about Erasmus online and physical mobility opportunities during COVID-19 and we explained how to apply for Erasmus. Another alumni of the programme, Muhammed Furkan Nargül shared his internship and study experiences.

Call for Erasmus Student Study and Internship Mobility Online Applications for the Exchange & Erasmus programs for the 2021-2022 academic year will be available during 29/01/2021- 12/02/2021. Who can apply: • AGU Students • At least first year students (Prep School Students may not apply) • CGPA: At least 2.20/4.0 for undergraduate students and 2.5/4.0 for Master and Doctoral students • 4th year students may apply only for Erasmus Traineeship Selection Criteria: • %50 CGPA + % 50 English Proficiency Exam • 10 points will be added to the overall score of students with disabilities. • 5 points will be added to the overall score of the students who are the childrens of martyries and veterans. • 10 points will be decreased from the overall score of the students for each participation of Erasmus Program • 10 points will be decreased from overall score of the students if they go the country of their nationality. • 10 points will be added to the overall score of the students who have been under protection by 2828 Social Services Law • For the students who are selected for the mobility: 5 points will be decreased from overall score of the students if they do not attend the meetings / trainings organized by the higher education institution without excuses (if the student applies again for Erasmus) • 10 points will be decreased from overall score of the students if they withdraw from the program after the given deadline for withdrawal. • 10 points will be decreased from overall score of the students if they apply for both internship and study mobility together (the student will decide for which mobility type we will reduce the point) • 5 points will be decreased from the overall score of the students if they do not attend English Exam without an excuse. • 10 points will be added to the overall score of students submitting internship acceptance letter. After you are selected as Erasmus candidate, if the quota for grant is not available, you may use the Erasmus status as a Zero Grant Student. You should fill the online application form and submit your transcript with the grades of this academic year. (Applications will be opened on the 29th of January, 2021.) After applications, there will be English Proficiency Exam in February, 2021. Please read our bilateral agreement list carefully and make your choices accordingly.
