The Pushtoon composition was 4 contractors, 2 school owners, 4 teachers. One Punjabi teacher also attended. A pushtoon nationalist Saeed argued that ANP has not called for revenge despite hundreds of Pushtoon being killed in August only, he said leaders of Pushtoons and Mohajirs can stem violence. Hanan, a Pushtoon worker said working class has no benefit to gain from those dividing people, he said he will do all to quell violence. Comrade Riaz spoke about the usefulness of Mohajir and Pushtoon unity and thanked the organizers for taking a bold step that will help challenge the killing spree of Pushtoons in Karachi. He said it is Pushtoons who are targeted in the city areas creating tensions in Mohajir minority areas and it is through unity we can fight violence. A pushtoon school owner said ethnicity will burn the entire Karachi and a move from Landhi where mixed population lives can become an example for the whole city. A Mohajir teacher said that political parties have now become a force to pitch brother against brother. A Pushtoon contractor said a peace committee is necessary.
