Palanzo is village located in the municipality of Faggeto lario, Lombardy. The main features of this area are related to the particular landscape that connects lake and mountain views.
Local historical elements, such as vernacular architecture, old terraces and the ancient historical paths represent an important heritage that must be preserved for future generations.
The project focuses on a transitional area between the settlement, urban and totally man-made environment and the forest which is a completely natural environment. In this area the terraces represent a good opportunity to create a filter space between two different but at the same time complementary environments.
The aim, in fact, is to create a harmonious space that can reconcile these two environments.
