How bread is made
There are many different kinds of bread like, wholemeal, multigrain, white, brown and maybe Turkish bread. Bread is a kind of food made out of flour, water, yeast and oil mixed together and baked in the oven. Making bread starts with the wheat crops. The wheat seeds are planted in farms by farmers. The wheat grown green like grass, then it will turn golden, which means it is ready to be harvested. The harvesters cut the wheat and then the wheat stalks are shaken and collects the grains. The grains go into the truck and the stalks come out the other end of the truck which are straws. They fall into the crops and the straws will help the soil. Once all the grains are collected, the farmers will give the grains to the flourmills. The flourmills have big machines which grind the grains to make flour. When the flour is made it is packaged and sent to the bread factories or bakeries. The bread factories or bakeries mix the flour with water and yeast which turns into dough. The big bread factories have machines which mix the dough especially for bread, while the small bakeries might do it by hand. Once the dough is kneaded they are put into trays. The yeast will make the bread rise and into shape. Then they are ready to put into the oven. When the bread is made it is either put into bags or put onto the shelves. Once that is finished it is ready to sell. Bread is eaten by most of the people around the world. It is delicious once it is made to sandwiches. Bread can be savoury like sandwiches or sweet like raisin toast. Cake is also made out of yeast water and flour but sugar is also added.
