How is Bread Made?

Making bread isn’t as easy as it seems, there are many complex steps to making bread, it involves wheat, cutting, crushing, delivering, mixing , baking and selling it. Firstly, the farmer has to plant thousands of seeds with a machine which drops the seeds on the ground it will take many hours to do this. The wheat starts of green, but in turns into a goldish colour when it is ready to be harvested. After the wheat is ready to be harvested the farmer uses another different machine which cuts the top of the wheat heads (the grains) and goes in the machine and the rest is left on the ground because it is good for the soil. When the farmer gets the grains he takes it in a truck to the silo. When the grains are at the silo it is taken to the mill usually by a truck, but it is sometimes delivered by a train. Then it is taken to the factories. At the factory the grains a ground to make powder (flour), then it is mixed with water, oil and yeast to make dough. After they knead the dough they bake it to make bread then when it cools down they can put it on the shelf or they can cut it into slices package it and put it on the shelf. Once that is done it can be sold to people in the shops.
