ISV Summer School Newsletter - Week 2 ( 14/7 - 18/7) Dear Parents, The International Theme has begun with so many cool activities to beat the heat of summer. Now that this week has flown by, we would like to look back with you at some of the things that we have done and what our students have achieved. A big thank you to all of our students who helped to create such a fun week! Next week we will have to say goodbye to some students as well as say hello to some new ones. We are looking forward to welcoming you to Week 3 of ISV’s Summer School 2014!
Bat Trang Ceramic Village Following the international theme, we came to explore a famous old village for Vietnamese traditional ceramic. Our students not only saw how ceramics are produced but also had a chance to try making pottery themselves. Aren’t they great for the very first attempt?

English & Fun Science
Birthdays
Learning English while studying Fun Science has been a fun and interactive way to study. This time an exciting competition was organized for anyone who could make the highest tower out of paper, which by the way must stand firmly on the ground.
All the best to Ly Hien Long, Yoonhyuck and Soohyuck on their birthdays earlier and later this week!
My Gym
Exercising together is not only good for students’ health, moreover, to improve coordination. With our physical experts from My Gym, this session also helped shape an active attitude and team spirit.

Please be advised that all students should bring their swimsuits every day, especially on the days they have swimming classes. Please be advised to prepare ISV Summer School Uniform and a full bottle of water for your children for their Wednesday’s fieldtrip.
