Strategies & Tactics Strategy: Align employees with corporate goals and values. Tactic: ITAGroup created and deployed an online platform to facilitate peer-to-peer, team and manager discretionary recognition of aligned, outstanding performance. The client tracked recognition activity, such as enrollment and account status, to ensure the preferred behaviors lined up with corporate values using a recognition tracker at the individual level. Management reports provided opportunities for encouragement and coaching. Strategy: Reinforce role model behavior. Tactic: Employees were recognized in writing so they understood what they are being recognized for and why. Strategy: Increase engagement at all levels in the company. Tactic: Employees and managers had discretionary point budgets and multiple opportunities to earn points. Employees were also allowed to pool their points for bigger redemption opportunities.
