The Martini Museum of Wine History was built in 1961 in the ancient wine cellars of a 17th century villa in a hamlet of Chieri known as Pessione. The villa hosted the first plants of the company Martini & Rossi. The 16 museum's rooms with red bricks and vaults include a collection of ancient ritual and symbolic objects, amphoras and vases from the Second Millennium B.C. up to the Roman Empire, large wooden wine presses, precious crystal and silver objects. Lazio – Hot air balloon over the Villa Borghese in Rome The Aerophile 5500 airship is the biggest tethered air balloon in the world. It only flies fastened that means it flies from a fixed platform and it is permanently tethered to the ground by means of a stainless steel cable. It carries up to 30 passengers to 150 meters above the ground and brings them back down after fifteen minutes. Unlike hot air balloons, the Aerophile 5500 uses no flame and its hydro-electric winch is operated by an electric motor, which is noiseless and fully environment-friendly. Rides take place daily at the Villa Borghese runway from 9:30 am to sunset. Flying is only possible on good weather conditions. When the wind is particularly strong, the air balloon cannot fly.
