The galleon The boat arose out of Andrea Longo’s passion for his home Venice and it’s sea, the lagoon. According to the paintings of the 18th century a real Venetian galleon was built. However this galleon does not transport any spices, fabric or sailors coming from the colonies but offers one of the most exciting trips through the silent lagoon of Venice. This ship which is driven by two 450 hp motors and can reach speeds up to 15 knots an hour, was planed in every single detail. A modern safety system and equipment like speakers, umbrellas a well equipped bar and a ballroom guarantee a successful event! The galleon offers different possibilities to entertain the guest and two landings to get on board (Treporti or Venice). The guests enjoy a trip to the most famous islands of the lagoon like Marano, Burano and Trcello, or those which aren’t famous yet but still are amazingly beautiful like the islands Sant’ Erasmo, San Francesco del Deserto, San Servolo and San Lazzaro degli Armeni.

The hotel The Villa from the year 1700 comprises 42 rooms which can offer a very charming stay. Here one can live the feeling of an old residence which already has seen so much and where the history left its signs. Only a few kilometres away from the magnificent city Venice, right in the heart of Treviso, the Villa Braida offers exclusive hospitality with a little extra: The silence of the Venetian landscape.

The Programme 1st day Arrival in Italy and welcome drink. 3 course dinner at the elegant restaurant of the hotel. 2nd day After a luxuriant breakfast in the morning departure for Venice. What shell one say about this city? The adjectives won’t seem to end: inimitable, magic, fascinating,‌ Every possibility of another visit is also a possibility to discover new hidden places and emotions. Starting at the parking place Punta Sabbioni we are leaving for the Piazza San Marco with a private boat. There you will meet with the guide and visit the city. Leisure time for some shopping. Towards 5pm boarding on the galleon Jolly Rogers at the Piazza San Marco. Venice a fascinating city and what could close a visit worthy? A remarkable dinner aboard of an galleon of the 17th century. Rebuilt according to old building plans it allows the passengers to feast at a rich buffet while the galleon floats securely over the water. An unforgettable event for everybody! During the trip not only the buffet but also all drinks are included and there even is a music DJ. The galleon calls towards 9pm at Punta Sabbioni where we start our way back to the hotel by bus. 3rd day Today you are about to discover the eastern side of the plain Padana and the Friuli. Accompanied by a splendid guide you are going to visit the cities Grado and Aquieleia. The lagoon of Grado, with its 12000 hectare is one of the most beautiful lagoons of the Adriasea. The bay bar is more than 25 km long and with its sewers and valleys it still is one of the

last untouched ecosystems and a home for countless seabirds which are nesting here. Located nearby Grado is Aquileia, known for the importance of its archaeological excavations and the early Christian and medieval buildings. It was found in 181 B.C. as a Roman colony. In the afternoon we are going to a wine cellar where we can taste three DOC wines and have a little snack with bread, Grissini and Montasio cheese. Trip back to the hotel and dinner 4th day after the breakfast journey back home The buffet aboard the galleon Aperitif with potato crisps and salty snacks ---Buffet ---little Venetian calamry calamary salade goldbrown crab pincers deliciouse stuffed and fried olives pancakes stuffed with ricotta cheese and spinach (or craps and rocket or something else) or Lasagnetta with meat and vegetables ---different little pizzas mixed cheese and sausages with vegetables and a dip made of olive oil, vinegar, salt and little pieces of bread (smoked Parma ham, salted air dried beef, Venetian collard pork grilled suckling pig, Grana Padano) typical cookies coffee wine, beer, soft drinks, water and coffee
