Elizabeth II Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom, was born in London on 21 April 1926.Her full name is Elizabeth Alexandra Mary. She ascended the throne of the United Kingdom on 6 February 1952, after the death of her father George VI. She is the daughter of King George VI and Elizabeth BowesLyon. Her mother, whose name she bears, presided over her education. Her only sister, Margaret, born in 1930, died in 2002.
At birth, she was third in line to the British throne after her uncle Edward and her father. In 1936 his father George VI, following the abdication of his brother Edward VIII, became king. Therefore, Elizabeth became heir to the throne. When World War II broke out, Elizabeth and Margaret moved to Windsor Castle.
In 1945 Elizabeth was allowed to join the Territorial Auxiliary Service. She married Philip Mountbatten in 1947. During an official visit to Kenya they received the announcement of the King’s death . It was February 6, 1952. She was crowned Queen on 2 June 1953 with a joyful ceremony at Westminster Abbey.
Elizabeth II: family Buckingham Palace is the home of Queen Elizabeth and her husband Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. She is the mother of four children: Charles, Prince of Wales, Anne, Princess Royal, Andrew, Duke of York,and Edward, Earl of Wessex. Elizabeth II: “Golden Jubilee” In June 2002, Elizabeth celebrated her "Golden Jubilee" or fifty years of reign. Thousands of people stood in front of Buckingham Palace. The Queen and Prince Philip went aboard the golden carriage to St Paul’s Cathedral in London for a thanksgiving service.
She is 96 years old and the oldest British monarch of all time. She began to delegate her children some public duties.

The Queen also gives her approval before a Government is formed, appoints the Prime Minister, appoints the ministers of the Government, and gives royal assent by signing all laws before they can take effect.. -In conclusion, it can be said that in Britain the Monarch reigns but does not rule. The functions of the Monarch are formal and symbolic.
Sophie Countess of Wessex Sophie, Countess of Wessex, nee Sophie Helen Rhys-Jones (Oxford, 20 January 1965), is a member of the British Royal Family, wife of Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex.
Sophie and her husband Prince Edward Sophie met Prince Edward, fourth and last child of Queen Elizabeth II and Philip of Edinburgh, in 1987. They met again in 1993. Sophie married Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, in St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on June 19, 1999.
Sophie and her privilege Sophie is one of the very few members of the Royal Family who enjoys the privilege of getting into the royal limousine with the Queen during the Christmas celebrations in Sandringham.
Lady Diana Spencer Diana Spencer was born in Sandringham, on the east coast of England.
In 1981 she married Prince Charles, the oldest son of Queen Elizabeth, so Lady Diana got the title of Princess of Wales.

Camilla Rosemary Duchess of Cornwall She was born in London, the United Kingdom on 17 July 1947. Her parents were Bruce Shand and Rosalind Cubitt. She married Charles, Prince of Wales, in 2005. She has two children: Tom Parker Bowles and Laura Lopes. Camilla has the title of Duchess of Cornwall.
Camilla and her husband Charles Camilla was Prince Charles’ s lover during the period when he was married to Diana Spencer.
They officially got engaged on 10 February 2005 and celebrated their wedding in Windsor on 9 April 2005 .

Diana Spencer was born in Sandringham, Norfolk on 1 July 1961. Diana grew up in Park House, situated on the Sandringham estate.The Royal Family often spent their holidays in Sandringham House, and Diana played with the Queen's sons, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward.
On 31 August 1997, Diana died in a car crash while the driver was fleeing the paparazzi.

MEGHAN MARKLE Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, is an American member of the British Royal Family and a former actress. Meghan was born on August 4, 1981 in Los Angeles,California, her parents separated when she was two years old and divorced four years later. In July 2016, Markle began a relationship with Prince Harry and then announced that she would retire from acting and her intention to become a British citizen.
KATE MIDDLETON Kate was born in Reading on 9 January 1982. She was educated at St. Andrew’s School and Marlborough college before studying art history at St. Andrew’s University in Scotland, where she met William in 2001. They got married on 29 april 2011. The couple’s children are Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis of Cambridge.
Prince George of Cambridge was born at St. Mary's Hospital in London on 22 July 2013. Prince William was present for the birth of his son, who weighed 8lb 6oz (3.8kg).
He started primary school in September 2017. Prince George is third in line to the throne, after his father and grandfather.

His wife, Rachel Meghan Markle, was born at West Park Hospital in Canoga Park on August 4, 1981. Meghan and Harry have two children: Archie and Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor.

Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor The Duchess of Sussex gave birth to her second child in Santa Barbara, California. on 4 June 2021. Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor - to be known as Lili - is named after the Royal Family's nickname for the Queen and is her 11th great-grandchild.

CHARLES, PRINCE OF WALES Prince Charles was born in London, on 14th November 1948. He is the son of the Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, duke of Edinburgh. He is the successor to Queen Elizabeth’s Throne. In 1981 he married Diana Spencer, but after her death on 2005 he married Camilla Shand. He has two sons: William and Harry. His main duties are to support the Queen in her royal commitments.
ANDREW, DUKE OF YORK Andrew is a British prince, second son of of Queen Elizabeth and Philip of Edinburgh. He was born on 19th February 1960. He occupies the 9th position in the line of succession to the British Throne.
EDWARD, EARL OF WESSEX Prince Edward was born on 10 March 1964, and he was the last son of the Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip of Edinburgh. He is the 14th in line of succession to the British throne. He is married with Sophie Rhys-Jones, and they have 2 sons: Lady Louise, and James Viscount Severn. After a brief period of the Royal marines, the prince formed his own TV production company.

Mark Phillips Mark Anthony Peter Phillips was born in Tetbury, United Kingdom on 22 September 1948. He is a British knight, winner of the gold medal in the 1972 Olympic Games and the first husband of Princess Anne of the United Kingdom.
Military career He was educated in a college, after which he entered the Military Academy. Later, he was appointed Aide-de-camp to Queen Elizabeth II. It was thanks to his job that he met his future wife Anne, the only daughter of the Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
Anne Princess Royal Anne was born at Clarence House on 15 August 1950. She is the second daughter and only daughter of Elizabeth, Duchess of Edinburgh, and Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. She is also known for her equestrian talent.
Sport career Passionate about horseback riding, during the seventies she practiced
this sport at a competitive level, winning several competitions at European level, obtaining the European title in 1971 and two silver medals in 1975.

PETER PHILLIPS Peter Phillips is the eldest of the Queen's grandchildren. He married Canadian Autumn Kelly in 2008 and they have two daughters, Savannah, born in 2010, and Isla, born in 2012. Mark Phillips refused the offer of an earldom when he married so their children do not have courtesy titles.

After graduating from McGill University in 2002, she met Peter Phillips in her birthplace and hometown of Montreal, Quebec. Their engagement was announced on 28 July 2007, and they were married in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, on 17 May 2008. They have two daughters. The couple separated in September 2019, and divorced in 2021.
ZARA TINDALL Zara Tindall followed her mother and father with a highly successful riding career - including winning a silver medal at the London 2012 Olympics. She married former England rugby player Mike Tindall in 2011 and the couple had their first child, Mia Grace, in 2014.
MIKE TINDALL Michael James Tindall, born 18 October 1978, is a former English rugby union player. Tindall played outside centre for Bath and Gloucester, and won 75 caps for England between 2000 and 2011. He was a member of the English squad which won the 2003 World Cup.Tindall is married to Zara Phillips, the daughter of Anne, Princess Royal, and the eldest granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
