XXLS 2 Flute Router

Description

2 flute solid carbide, straight shank, upward spiral, 30° helix, manufactured from Ultra Wear Resistant Micrograin Carbide, square end.

Application

Designed for applications requiring extremely long reach in a variety of materials.

Tech Tip When using long and XXL length routers of smaller diameters always use a shorter tool first to avoid or reduce vibration and improve surface finish.

Upcut / Downcut Router

Description

Solid carbide compression router, manufactured from Ultra Wear Resistant Micrograin Carbide. Lower part of the flute is Right Hand Spiral / Right Hand Cut, upper part of flute Left Hand Spiral / Right Hand Cut. Cupro coated for superior tool life.

Application

Specifically designed for the efficient machining of MDF, wood laminates and other similarly abrasive materials. The reverse helix flute design has the effect of pulling the top and bottom of the work piece in towards the centre, eliminating de-lamination.
