Isn’t it wonderful to feel welcome and comfortable when traveling? It makes the experience so much more enjoyable and encourages you to mingle with shipmates and to fully explore your ship and the exciting destinations visited. We have carefully selected the rich color and texture of every fabric, the vibrant glow of every sconce and the plush cushion of each settee, designing each detail so that our ships naturally exude a warm, inviting ambiance imbuing everyone onboard with a sense of elegance and comfort. You are instantly put at ease, and it’s so refreshingly casual and friendly that it’s like being in your own private country club where everyone knows your name. This is elegance without pretense nor the need for tuxedos and evening gowns. This is a world where you can be yourself. The overwhelming sense of comfort and belonging seems to kindle geniality. Striking up conversations and making new friends becomes effortless. Meet over cocktails in Martinis and recount adventures ashore. Ask another couple to join you for a friendly game of cards. You will find it exceedingly easy to be sociable. Even so, sometimes you may feel less gregarious and want nothing more than to relax by yourself. Take comfort in knowing that there are plenty of private retreats reserved just for you.

T H E FI N E S T C UISI N E AT S E A Boldly claiming to serve “the finest cuisine at sea” might seem to be an overstatement. But we wouldn’t make such an immodest assertion if not for the tremendous contribution of the legendary Master Chef Jacques Pépin. As our Executive Culinary Director, he inspires our chefs to perform feats of gastronomic wizardry. Memorable dining begins with open seating, as it allows you to dine when you are ready and with whomever you choose. Regardless of which of our restaurants you select, there are no additional dining charges.

UNIQU E PO RTS O F CAL L

BEIJING, CHINA This dynamic city has dazzled travelers since the days of Marco Polo. From the enchanted serenity of the Summer Palace Gardens to the ‘Bird’s Nest’ Olympic Stadium, past and present Beijing, swirl by in a kaleidoscope of unforgettable memories. Begin your tour in China’s largest man-made port city, Tianjin, and explore such sites as Confucius Temple, Ancient Culture Street with its traditional Qing-dynasty style shops and stalls and the impressive Shi Family Mansion. Excursions to Beijing showcase The Forbidden City, the best preserved imperial palace in China and the largest ancient palatial structure in the world. Historic Tiananmen Square is the world’s largest city square, and holds about one million people for public gatherings. Around the square view the Monument of the National Heroes, the Great Hall of the People, the National Museum of China and the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong. Further afield, discover one of the great ancient engineering marvels still in existence, China’s Great Wall.

BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA Rivaling Madrid or Paris for sophistication and culture, the treelined boulevards of fashionable Buenos Aires are home to superb restaurants, art galleries, museums, the magnificent Teatro de Colon and the brightly colored houses of La Boca barrio. As the sun sets, Recoleta awakens and the

passionate melodies of the tango rise from the milangas along San Telmo’s cobbled streets. Few cities in South America share the ambiance, lifestyle and amenities that make Buenos Aires so endearing.

EASTER ISLAND, CHILE Easter Island was given its name by the Dutch explorer Jacob Roggeveen, who encountered the island on Easter Sunday, 1722. Although a Polynesian island in southeastern Pacific Ocean, it is an overseas territory of Chile. Easter Island is famous for its mysterious, monumental statues, called moai, created by the Rapanui people. A total of 887 monolithic stone statues have been inventoried. The native islanders who carved them used only stone hand chisels, mainly basalt toki, which still lay in place throughout the island.

RAIATEA, FRENCH POLYNESIA Raiatea and Taha’a are two separate islands sharing the same lagoon. Located 193 kilometres northwest of Tahiti, between Huahine and Bora Bora among the leeward Society Islands, Raiatea is the second largest island of French Polynesia after Tahiti. The island tour reveals lush green valleys, numerous waterfalls, and pineapple and vanilla plantations. Discover fascinating under-water scenery within Raiatea’s deep lagoon, rich with fish and surrounded by mountains.

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA One of the liveliest, must-see cities of the Pacific Rim, Sydney humbly began life as a British penal colony in 1778. Among the colorful characters in its early history was William Bligh of Mutiny on the Bounty fame who was deposed as governor during the Rum Rebellion of 1808. In 1852, with the discovery of gold in the interior, Sydney became a thriving port of the Victorian Empire. Today, Sydney looks to the future, its skyline crowned by the graceful billowing sails of its famed Opera House. Visitors can get a glimpse of the past along the narrow, twisting streets of the Rocks, Sydney’s restored historical district and for the adventurous, the Sydney bridge climb will reward you with panoramic views of the city and harbor. Excursions can reveal the spectacular, untamed beauty of the Blue Mountains with a ride on the worlds steepest perpendicular railway; or get up close and personal with Australia’s charming wildlife at the Koala Park Sanctuary, then end your day with a refreshing stop at a traditional Aussie pub.

Please refer to the Guest Ticket/Contract for full Terms and Conditions of these exclusions.

Smoking | For the safety and security of all guests and staff onboard, Designated Smoking Areas are available on the forward, starboard corner of the Pool Deck and in the aft, port corner of Horizons. These areas are comfortably furnished and conveniently located near food and beverage areas. Smoking is expressly forbidden in all staterooms and suites, on verandas, or in any areas of the ship other than officially Designated Smoking Areas. Smoking in a stateroom or suite or on a veranda represents a serious fire and safety hazard to all guests and staff. Guests choosing to disregard this policy will be disembarked at the next port of call and may also be subject to additional fees that will be imposed to cover the costs associated with any damage to and the required cleaning of furnishings, verandas and surrounding deck and accommodation areas. All areas other than those specified as Designated Smoking Areas will remain smoke-free. This includes all guest suites and staterooms, verandas, restaurants, public areas, the Casino and all other areas of the ship. Cigar and pipe smoking is only permitted on the forward, starboard corner of the Pool Deck.

Seat Assignments and Pre-Flight Arrangements | Any pre-flight arrangements, such as seat assignments, frequent flyer programs, wheelchair requests, oxygen or special meal requests, must be made by the guest directly with the airlines based on their policies and procedures. Oceania Cruises cannot confirm any special airline requests unless otherwise specified. These special requests and services should be arranged by your Travel Agent directly with the airlines. Luggage exceeding these limitations will be subject to charges as set forth by the individual operators, including any excess baggage charges. Fees for checked luggage are now common and are the responsibility of the guest. Please check with your specific airline(s) for their respective luggage policy. Oceania Cruises reserves the right to refuse any items that may be considered dangerous (explosives, firearms, liquid oxygen, combustible or illegal items). Oceania Cruises reserves the right to search any baggage for security reasons. All hand-carried luggage and personal effects are the responsibility of the guest at all times. Oceania Cruises is not responsible for the loss of or damage to guests’ luggage. Baggage insurance is recommended. Luggage and personal belongings will be taken off the ship upon guest debarkation. Under no circumstances will luggage be kept onboard without the owner of such luggage being on the vessel. Guests may bring a reasonable amount of luggage onboard an Oceania Cruises vessel. No baggage or items heavier than 70 lbs. will be loaded onto or off-loaded from our vessels. Please refer to your Guest Ticket/Contract for all applicable Terms and Conditions. Documentation and Visas | Passport and Visa requirements, and regulations in regards to vaccination certificates and other health requirements vary by destination. It is the sole responsibility of each guest to obtain and have available the appropriate valid travel and health documents for their chosen itinerary. Any guest traveling without the proper documentation will not be allowed to board the vessel and no refund of cruise fare or any other travel components purchased from Oceania Cruises will be issued. Passports must be valid six months from the date of trip completion. Due to airline security measures, your passport name must match your airline ticket name or you may be denied boarding. Oceania Cruises accepts no responsibility for obtaining required visas nor for advising guests of visa or other immigration requirements beyond the guidelines indicated. Oceania Cruises does not provide visas, except when guests take Oceania Cruises shore excursions in Russia. At selected other ports Oceania Cruises provides visas onboard at a cost already purchased. Travel Advisories | The U.S. Department of State’s Consular Information Sheets are available for every country of the world. Oceania Cruises recommends that all guests visit the U.S. Department of State’s web site at http://travel. state.gov to obtain information concerning the status of any advisories or warnings issued to travelers for specific countries around the world. Cruise Documents | All final cruise documents and other arrangements made by Oceania Cruises on behalf of the guest(s) will be sent to the designated travel agency or directly to the guest approximately 21 days prior to sail date. A service fee may be charged for early issuance of documentation or for the expedited shipment of documents. Clothing | Recommended onboard clothing is resort or country club casual. For evening dining, elegant casual resort wear is suggested. We request that casual jeans, shorts, t-shirts or tennis shoes not be worn at dinner. Boarding | Guests are required to be onboard the vessel at least two hours prior to the scheduled departure time.

Medical Services | Each of our vessels is equipped with limited medical facilities and staffed by internationally accredited medical personnel. Customary Emergency Room fees and charges do apply for medical services and are dictated by the services performed by the ship’s medical staff. Guests needing special services during the voyage, or needing to travel with medical apparatus, including wheelchairs, motorized scooters, oxygen therapy, etc., must advise Oceania Cruises in writing at time of deposit. Please note some ports of call may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility and in such cases, may preclude debarkation for any individual with limited mobility, with or without the aid of a wheelchair or motorized scooter. Oceania Cruises has the right to refuse or revoke passage to anyone who, in its judgement, is in a physical, mental or emotional condition unfit for travel or whose comfort onboard may be compromised due to situations beyond the care that can be provided by Oceania Cruises. Alcohol Policy | The sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages will be limited to guests aged 21 years or older. Oceania Cruises will refuse and prohibits the sale or service of alcoholic beverages to guests under the age of 21 years. Guests are kindly reminded to consume alcohol in moderation. Oceania Cruises reserves the right to prohibit and retain all alcohol bought ashore for consumption onboard the vessel. Gratuities | How much you choose to tip is a personal matter and completely at your discretion. For your convenience the following gratuities are automatically added to your shipboard account.
