Macaroni Beach is perhaps the most famous beach and is located on the East coast of the island. Other popular beaches on the Atlantic or Caribbean sides are Endeavour, Lagoon, L’Ansecoy and Simplicity.

Caribbean

Mustique offers many activities, such as basketball,

St. Lucia, Mustique, St. Vincent

St. Lucia is a small, lush tropical gem relatively unknown. This jewel of the Windward Islands is a place of natural beauty with warm hospitality. It is a volcanic island where the twin peaks of The Pitons rise over 2000ft at the water’s edge. Further inland, the rainforests shelter wild orchids, giant ferns and birds of paradise. Marigot Bay, on the west side of the island, is very close to Georges Charles Airport. The marina is centrally located on the island, offering quick access to popular island excursions. For example: a tour of Soufrière, the world’s only drive-in volcano; a visit to the Diamond Baths for a relaxing bath in the earth’s rejuvenating heated pools; a tour of the Botanical Gardens or the Toraille Waterfalls. You surely cannot miss snorkelling at Anse Chastanet Coral Reef where unusual, colorful and beautiful fish and coral reefs can be seen. Take a bath in the clean water of Jalousie Beach. The white sand and stunning setting, between the twin Gros and Petit Piton volcanic peaks, makes this beach south of Soufrière a favourite spot for snorkellers and scuba divers. Sailing south, you will reach St Vincent, a mountainous and well forested island dominated by the volcano Mount Soufrière. Due to the island’s volcanic origin, most of St Vincent’s beaches are black sand with the two notable exceptions of Villa and Indian Bay. . We strongly suggest sailing towards Mustique Island, a picturesque 1,400 acre island surrounded by 9 beaches of pure white sand with gentle swaying coconut palms and warm turquoise waters. It is a private island, owned by shareholders of The Mustique Company. It is a really peaceful island with little traffic, even during the peak season. Many roads are not paved.

Caribbean

Antigua, Guadeloupe, Martinique

The best beaches are: Pointe Baptiste and Purple Beach (with coral reef) in the northwest; Woodford Hill Beach and Marigot Bay (with its famous long black sand beach) in the northeast; Scotts Head Beach (with beautiful underwater walls) and Soufriere Bay Beach (with rock-studded black sand shore) in the south. In addition, we suggest a visit to Martinique, which offers bays and anchorages in untouched areas.

Antigua is the perfect place where to land when arriving on a flight from Europe , if your yacht is berthed at the Yacht Club Marina. The first part of your Caribbean cruise, Antigua, will offer you breathtaking beaches such as Half Moon Bay which is a National Park, and Nonsuch Bay which is the best place to anchor inside the reef as the water is very deep. We suggest a trip to Barbuda, which is one of the truly undiscovered treasures of the Eastern Caribbean. There are 17 miles of stunning pink and sandy beaches. The anchorages on the south and west coasts are mainly calm, being protected by a barrier reef. It is also famous for lobsters as the lagoon is an important breeding ground for this crustacean. Other hidden secrets include ancient Amerindian ruins and sites to be visited, one of the rarest small birds in the world – the Barbuda Warbler, caves and diving sites. Sailing towards the South, you will reach Guadeloupe and Bas du Fort Marina, an excellent stop as it is very close to the Airport and, in addition, can offer a variety of waterfront restaurants and bars. Guadeloupe is the largest island of the Lesser Antilles and boasts a lively mix of Créole culture with modern cities, rural environments, rainforests and secluded beaches. The Island tour is highly recommended to discover the beautiful white beaches of Grande Terre, the perfect place for wind- and kite-surfing. Sailing further south, you will reach Dominica Island, which has been nicknamed the “Nature Isle of the Caribbean” for its unspoiled natural beauty. The island features lush mountainous rainforests, home of many rare plants, animals and birds. These forests coat two thirds of the island and nourish 1,200 plant species. Rivers, lakes, streams and waterfalls abound, fed by the island’s high annual rainfall. Famous is the Morne Trois Pitons National Park with the Boiling Lake, Middleham & Trafalgar Falls and the Emerald Pool.

w w w. f lo a t i n g l i fe .c om

The south end of the island is blessed with white sandy beaches backed by palms. Excellent French Creole cuisine restaurants are located throughout the island. Seafood includes fresh local crab, lobster and conch, large shellfish served on the barbecue or cooked in a delicious spicy sauce. Do not miss the best attraction located in the centre of the island, The “Habitation Clément, which is recognized as an Historical Monument by the Ministry of culture.

Marina di Loano

Marina di Loano Marina di Loano was the first project within the yachting sector promoted by the Fondiaria SAI company, that used all its business skills to create a safe and modern port. Marina di Loano is an innovative project: its architectural charm will enchant our guests, together with its luxury activities and the quality of its berths and services. It has been built with due respect for the environment and the surrounding landscape, it provides loading and floating docks and dock fingers for more than one thousand boats between 8 and 65 metres long. Highly specialized services and assistance are provided at sea 365 days a year. Once moored, not only can boats be connected to power and water pedestals, they can also have access to satellite television and broadband Internet, and be connected to the sewage collection and disposal system. Ashore too, our guests will find all the comfort they need: Marina di Loano is a luxury resort with exclusive services and facilities and every single stay will be unique.

The Marina di Loano Yacht Club The Marina di Loano Yacht Club covers an area of 3,700 square meters and it is built in a modern and rigorous style: it is located at the end of Marina di Loano’s central pier, and offers a unique view of the sea. Its materials and

architectural design are those of the nautical tradition: teak, white paints and steel, sea colours with white and blue as the main colour pair. The interior designers of the Yacht Club are Guido Spadolini (Spadolini & Architects, Florence) and Massimiliano and Roberto Morlacci (MRM Associated Architects, Florence), while the architectural designer - “S.E.P.I Servizi e Progettazioni Immobiliari 97” in Milan. There are three main areas. From the quay guests can enter the clubhouse, a broad and airy space where reception, main offices and a 420 m² lounge with sea view are located, the latter having a huge fulllength window (40 m x 3 m). Here, club members will find a comfortable lounge, a lounge bar, a billiard room and a private meeting room. They will also have elegant guestrooms with nine suites at their disposal, each of which bears the name of a boat that has made the history of the America’s Cup.

Inside the club there are both sailing pictures of the internationally renowned photographer Carlo Borlenghi, and pictures taken by Davide De Francesco, a young local photographer, showing the most evocative patches and views of the Loano coast and of Liguria. The second floor hosts a restaurant with an internal hall, an indoor porch and a 400 m² terrace made of teak. The restaurant will be open to the public too and its opening hours will be 19:30 – 23:30. Next to it there is a lounge and a wine bar from which guests can reach the bar on the terrace, that will be open from 8:00 until midnight. On the third floor, that can be reached through a big spiral staircase, guests will find a solarium and a swimming pool for members only.

Bfly Club “Bfly” is the brand of catering and leisure services run by the Belloni family from Genoa, better known as Zeffirino,

ambassador of Italian cuisine in the world. At the Bfly Beach Club our guests will find a fine sand beach, equipped with elegant and comfortable double sunbeds and divided into different areas that can satisfy the several needs of those who want to allow themselves special moments. The Family area is ideal for families with children, it’s a place where children can play, with babysitting on request. The Relax Area is perfect for those who just want to rest, have a massage and cosmetic treatments, while the B-free Area is the perfect place for sport lovers, it offers fitness, beach volley, beach tennis, water polo and kayak courses. The Bfly Beach Club is also a disco and a restaurant bar where you can have a drink on the seashore, try many different dishes and dance all night long with the best DJs of the Ligurian Riviera. The winter venue of the disco is the “Belvedere” building located at the central pier, a fully equipped area for events and music shows, with its own restaurant and bar.

Maxy Dolphin

Maxy Dolphin The Maxi Dolphin boatyard was inspired by shipowner, Vittorio Moretti’s desire

for an exceptional boat. The company produces one-off and semi custom sailing and motor yachts in Erbusco (Bs). It takes 14 months to build a 20-metre vessel. A 30-metre boat, however, won’t enter the water before 22 months. And it makes sense given that every boat is custom designed to fulfil the dreams of its owner and that each component is produced directly at the boatyard, regardless of whether it be movable, teak covered or laminated with carbon skin. After helping aspiring owners translate their dreams onto paper and developing plans and renderings that can accurately simulate the features of these visions, the actual construction phase is begun. Regardless of whether a sailing or motor boat is being built, all designs use the most advanced composites in pre-preg carbon fibre and glass and sprint technology, with reinforcements in epoxy resin, the same type of technology used for the boats of the America’s Cup. Then comes the interior design phase where the incredible skills of the boatyard carpenters come into play, with each individual feature based on custom requirements. In its 20 years of operation Maxi Dolphin has created one-offs that are highly diverse yet all of superior quality and personality: the Carmen di Bellavista, Maxi Dolphin 118’ Viriella and the Maxi Dolphin 65, just to name a few. In addition to sailing vessels, the boatyard also dedicates itself to the production of motor yachts. In 2007 the MD51 Power was created, a boat that capitalised on Maxi Dolphin’s sailing expertise

and proves the boatyard’s dedication to custom design. In satisfying the needs of its individual customers, the boatyard has created a wide range of motor yachts, from tender and open space versions to the cruiser (with one or two cabins) for longer voyages on the sea. The MD51 Power was created entirely using sprint technology, which allows for an extremely strong and lightweight structure that can be used with less powerful motors than those normally installed on yachts of similar dimensions, thus ensuring a considerable reduction in power consumption, and it actually holds two 435 HP, Volvo Penta IPS 600 engines. This revolutionary propulsion system, which is incredibly efficient compared to inboard systems, offers a higher maximum speed, faster acceleration and enhanced performance. In 2011, Maxi Dolphin signed an important contract for the construction of a one-of-a-kind 100-foot sailing yacht and the presentation of a new motor design, MD65 Power, to the world of international yachting.

Caribbean

St. Martin/St. Maarten, St. Barth’s, Anguilla

Another paradise which cannot be missed is the spectacular Anguilla, famous for its wonderful beaches. For example, Shoal Bay, considered one of the top 5 beaches in the world. There are small restaurants where one can eat local food and fresh fish, and a Padi Centre for diving and snorkelling.

St. Martin is the perfect location where to start your Caribbean cruise: an International Airport is available and many Marinas will be more than happy to welcome your yacht. For example, the wonderful Port Cupecoy is a new luxurious location with a Yacht Club, a Resort, chic restaurants and lively entertainment situated around a seaside square. Following a cruise around the island to admire Grand Case Bay, Anse Marcel, Orient Bay and Le Gallion beach, the yacht will head towards a location you surely cannot miss, the famous St. Barthélemy, where you will have the opportunity to berth in the fascinating Gustavia Port. St. Barth’s is a very small island with beautiful beaches and breathtaking landscapes. Everything has a high standard/quality. International renowned brands and boutiques are available, especially in the city of Gustavia. The best beaches to visit are: Shell Beach, covered by shells; Anse Du Grand Colombier, which offers spectacular sunsets; Saint Jean Bay, which hosts Nikki Beach - the Caribbean version of the famous Tropezienne Club; and Eden Rock Hotel, with a fine dining restaurant and a well equipped beach club. On the north coast are Pointe Milou, Anse du Grand Cul-de-Sac (a perfect location for wind- and kite-surfing, equipment can be rented on site), and Anse de Petit Cul-de-Sac with wonderful beaches and different charming restaurants and hotels, such as Le Ti St. Barth and Hotel Guanahani. w w w. f lo a t i n g l i fe .c om

In the north east enjoy breathtaking landscapes. We suggest a visit to the wonderful Crocus Bay on the north side of the island, Rendez-Vous Bay in the south west and cruise towards Sandy Island, a small paradise with only one Restaurant where you can eat very good fresh fish.
