1. A conversation between a man and a woman related to college life. 2. Either the man or the woman will have a problem. 3. The other person will offer two solutions to the problem. 4. The person with the problem will react negatively to each suggested solution.
QUESTION 1. The question will ask you to summarize the problem, and then state which solution you prefer and why. * This is the only integrated speaking task that will ask your opinion! * Note that the question will tell you who had the problem, in case you were unclear! SPEAKING The woman’s problem is that she couldn’t sign up for all her needed classes because she cannot afford the required textbooks. The students discuss two solutions. First, buy used textbooks. Second, buy the textbooks online. If I were the woman, I would choose the second solution.
